Well made by Topeak
I use this bag as a controller bag for an E-bike. Is a great fit for an otherwise hard to conceal e-bike controller. Works well to conceal all electrical cord excess as well as the controller itself. It is a very well made product which is also water repellent as I did cut an opening for the electrical cords to pass thru. Though yet remains a very much a dry bag for electrical components. Item does come in several sizes so is versatile for your needs. It is Topeak, which I have found to be consistently well made. I recommend.

Awesome product - no bike rack required!!!
Fantastic bag - exactly what i needed. all the other rack bags were just too big and heavy and i wanted something that didnt add a big bulky weight to the back of my bike but at the same time something to hold my seriously heavy bike chain!! This did the trick, it holds the entire chain and meant i could get rid of the carrier on the back of my bike. its strong soild and does the trick. The velcro and snap locks hold it solid on the bike. I'll test it tomorrow on my bike ride but so far I'm thrilled with it!! fast delivery too - ordered it this morning and got it this evening!! Love Amazon Prime!!

Here's the Rub - Solution
At my request I received this large wedge dry bag for Father's Day. So I had extra incentive to make this bag work. The shape of this bag isn't very wedge shaped. I included an image to show the wide and square front. My leg hit the corners of the bag on every pedal stroke. My solution was to use the Topeak Bar-X-Tender to set the bag back from the seat post. No more rub. We're all built a little differently. So this may not be necessary for all. Seems many do not have the issue, but for me my inner thigh comes in pretty close to the seat post.

Good Product but impractical to use
It is basically as described - but it's a klutzy design. The clips on both sides of the bag are blocked by the smaller vertical straps that connect the bag to the seat frame. So when you attempt to insert the clip into the retaining clip when securing the bag closed, the retaining clip is NOT accessible, it is covered by the vertical attachment strap. So when opening or closing the bag one is constantly using both hands to try to press the "tangs" of plastic clip to release or secure the clip. It needs to be redesigned so that the horizontal bag locking clips are outside vertical straps and accessible easy opening and closing. The product is well made, robust and appears to be waterproof.

Bag Material Falls Apart Quickly
I first purchased this bag in 2014. After 4 or 5 years, the seams on the paper-thin vinyl exterior completely delaminated, exposing the plastic shell underneath, and the entire bag fell apart. It was attached to my bike, which was stored in my garage; I probably rode the bike outside about 5 or 6 times, during that time period.I purchased the same bag again in 2020, and by 2024, the same problem occurred; the seams had completely delaminated, the vinyl was disintegrating, and the entire bag fell apart. Once again, the bag was attached to my bike, which was stored in my garage; I probably rode the bike outside once or twice during this time period.Bottom line... If you want to buy this bag, plan on replacing it every 3 years or so; more frequently if you use it a lot. The thin vinyl material and heat-welded seams just do not hold up. For a sturdier bag, look for something made with stronger nylon material, etc.

I've seen this saddle bag survive 7,000+ miles
This is the perfect saddle bag.I originally had the Giant Waterproof Seat Bag, Large; this bag used a seat rail wedge that allowed the bag to clip on and off with ease. The build of the bag itself was perfect except for the plastic wedge that eventually broke off at the top of Mt. Evans. And friend of mine, whom I biked to Alaska from Texas with, had the Topeak wedge drybag, which ultimately survived the journey and continues to be of perfect use.I was upset initially because after of researching for the perfect, most durable, and waterproof saddle bag, I chose the wrong one before finding out about this one.If you're on the edge of buying it, I would strongly suggest doing so. This thing can take a beating and survive pretty much anything. I've witnessed this first hand on a 4,500 mile journey via bike.Do not get the Topeak drybag that is has a similar build to this one but instead has the wedge clamp system for the seat rails. The straps are the way to go.I personally got the large version because I knew it wasn't going to be too bulky since the bag sits at an angle with your seatpost rather than sticks out horizontally.

it looks like little too big for my bike
I was worried cuz' according to those reviews, it looks like little too big for my bike. i was even thinking to return item right after i receive the product. but, the size was perfectly right for my bike. has good material inside and outside also. side strap is little bit short tho, it fits anyway.size is not too small , not too large. I love this one!!
