Can't connect at all, also it should be clear this is not a UK plug socket
I had heard good things about Aqara, with it being sold on Amazon Prime I assumed this was a UK version, but it is not, and you get an adaptor. I am not opposed to using the adaptor, but this should be made much clearer in the title and/or initial description rather than hidden at the very bottom.Sadly, I can’t pair this at all with my network, I have tried 2 different routers, set up a 2.4Ghz only network and it is just a frustrating cycle of it saying it can't connect. This seems to be a common issue with many people struggling to get it to work with their networks. There probably is something on my network stopping it connecting, but I have use lots of 2.4Ghz only IoT devices and I have never had this many issues before.

Does not work properly in the UK
Not exactly a smart hub. Only works on Mainland china servers. So all my existing Xiaomi products registered in the UK dont work. I have to switch between regions to use my robo vac then change to china to use Aqara.Seems there is no UK version of this hub so its pretty useless if you want to use it with Google home. Its ok if you use an Aqara only eco system, but rubbish if you need to integrate it with your existing setup. The sensors I'll keep and use with Smartthings. If they brought a UK version out Id probably give it another go, but this one is going back.

Don’t buy. Especially if you are looking to sync other accessories to it.
This does not get detected as a Mi gateway hub. Installation is easy but I am not able to link other devices to it as the app doesn’t detract it as a gateway. It seems this is a cheap rip off

DO NOT BUY for Google Home
There is no integration for Google Home although it's advertised as such on the Xiaomi page, the Aqara page and within the Mi Home app. I will send this device back and use a Samsung Smartthings hub with custom device handlers instead. This is misleading advertisement and can only be tested by purchasing this device. Very bad business practice.

Good product, the price is fine when you consider the speed of delivery.
Very useful to provide out of the box HomeKit integration for my preexisting xiaomi sensors and switches. Easy to set up and the Aqara app is much more friendly than the xiaomi one (despite both hubs being almost completely identical!).

Great value HomeKit-compatible hub
The hub is fairly easy to set up and connect other Aqara devices to. I used the Aqara app which is quite simple but the Mi home app allows more customisability however it's harder to use. Overall, a nice product and a great value way to adds sensors to HomeKit

Great HomeKit alarm
This is a very simple to use and easy to install house alarm. The hub has a very loud siren that goes off if one of the door sensors is tripped. You can either set it by tapping a button on the hub or setting it on the apple homekit app. The only negative is the alarm makes a loud bleep when you set it that wakes our kids sometimes.

Homekit Support
Quick and easy to connect using Aqara App on iPhone making it possible to see all connected accessories in Homekit. Have 2 door sensors, temp sensor and motion sensor that work without fault.
