The shelves are held securely in place with a bolt, which fits almost all cages by a wingnut and washer on the outside of the cage and they can be placed anywhere in the cage unlike some platforms. Your furry pets will love to run, climb and sleep on these platforms which can be attached to the side of the cage to provide a run for your Degus and an extra level in the cage. Also, we sell shelves without the bolt so you can replace the shelves when it becomes worn or dirty for less cost than having to buy another bolt.

great little shelves
Love these little shelves, handy for all critter's cages. Easy to fit. Refills available for when they're chewed up, but usually last months & months. My degu loves these. You can see them in the bottom left of the picture on the front door of the cage.

Be careful
Good quality and I was happy with them, but unfortunately, despite not showing any interest in chewing them for months, one of my chinchillas decided to chew a corner of the shelf he always used to sit on and he died of an obstruction today despite treatment

Fab items for my hamsters.
These are great. My roborovski hamsters love climbing onto these shelves. Before I had a plastic shelf would was a faff to take out and clean. Now I just take the whole wire cage section off. Get rid of the mess in the tray and top section clips back on as the shelves are all permanently attached to the wire.Will definitely be buying the replacement covers for these fab shelves. Not too big either. Just right. Hamsters very happy.

The Rats love these. However...
The Rats love these. However, since they have started peeing on them the products have been a bit of an issue. Since the inside is made of cardboard, you can not spray cleaner on them without eventually destroying the cardboard.

Great set of shelves. Easy to attach to the cage and very sturdy. Our gerbil seems very impressed.

Excellent items!
These shelves are amazing to place around the cage so my rats can hop around and get to high places. It is good for exercising your rodent. And very safe.I would recommend this to anyone who has any type of rodent. Brilliant!

Nice
These shelves are fine. I used them for my rats. The Hessian material lasted a long time, but they did begin to smell after a while, since I bought these last year though, the last one was thrown away just two days ago. Well worth the money.

So good that I'm buying it twice.
These are bigger than I expected and very study, they fix well to the walls of a cage and allow you to be creative in making fun and useful platforms for your pets (in my case rats). There was a lot of unused space in my large cage, so these making new accessible paths between levels, jumping platforms, and look-out stations. Also good for hiding food on to keep them amused and occupied.
