Must have item!
We use this product every day on our son's car seat. It is great for public use since it keeps germy strangers from curiously checking out the baby. It also keeps it dark when the baby is napping. I love that it velcros around the handle because it stays put so much better than a blanket. It is also warm weather friendly.(I spent a ridiculous amount of time reviewing products before adding them to our baby registry, as well as buying them afterwards.)

I bought this because I live in a very hot climate and I wanted a carseat canopy that didn't have minky fabric on one side. To that extent, this canopy totally fit the bill -- the weight of the fabric is exactly what I wanted. However, I find that the width of the canopy is just a bit too narrow -- it doesn't do a good job of completely covering the sides of the carseat. I have a Graco Snugride 35 -- it's a large carseat, but no bigger than most infant carseats. One other issue I had with this canopy is that it had an overpowering chemical smell when it arrived. I had to wash it multiple times before it lost the odor.

Cute design, worked well
Fits nicely over my Graco infant seat. Covers baby completely and has a little extra slack for me to tuck in between the car seat and actualy seat back of the car. My baby would end up loving to grab it and play with it while she was hidden underneath on car rides here and there. Was not so thick that it made baby hot, but it was just enough to keep her at a comfy temperature. Also, was a cute design and many people complimented me on it!

Good product but overpriced
Purchased this cover because I liked the pattern better than other similar products, even though it was a bit more expensive. In person, the material is very thin and the pattern from the opposite side shows through. It's still very pretty and functional. I'd give it 5 stars, except it doesn't seem like a good value. $30 for a blanket with 2 velcro tabs sewn on is a bit overpriced.

Sophisticated and useful
These has been a great addition to my nursery set. I've used it from the day we brought my daughter home. It's lightweight, so it's great in the hotter states. The design is sophisticated (in black and white) and compliments my Petunia Pickle Bottom bag well. The only thing I wish is that the edges were weighted with something as it blows around like crazy on windy days. I could also use about 2-3 more inches in width as the small gap encourages prying younger kids to attempt a peek. The fabric washes well. I was worried it would shrivel up, but it looks as good today as it did after the first wash.

Not the same one as pictured
I received this product today and totally disappointed. It was flimsy and the pink color was very dull. And oh it's not the same as pictured. The other side of the blanket was plain. No dotted design as pictured. It looked like two dull piece of cloth stitched together with Velcro on it. Was very excited when I ordered. Very disappointed . Will be returning it.

Not the one pictured!
I love Balboa canopies as they are perfect for summer weather. Unfortunately, the one sent is not the one pictured. Like the previous reviewer I received a dull/light pink one with light grey and not the darker one pictured. Will be returning. Beautiful but not the one in the picture.

Seems like the looseness means it will be useless during windy ...
Wish it was longer, it just barely covers my graco 30. Seems like the looseness means it will be useless during windy days. Also, the packaging says protects from elements but doesn't seem useful in cold weather
