Speck Products Presidio Grip iPhone XS Max Case, Heartrate Red/Vermillion Red, 120199-7778

Greatest grip on a case thus far; speck does this right. The case has been used for a month and was taken internationally for a 2 week excursion to the South Pacific. My iPhone was dropped from nearly 5ft on rough terrain (and multiple times on the various planes) without a blemish to the device or case. The only complaint I have is that, as others have mentioned, some of the grip has started to peel. All and all, an outstanding case offering maximum protection without adding much bulk while providing a superior grip.

Have used Speck on most of my phones and they have done their job every time! My phones have survived numerous drops, being stepped on and when taken out of the case, the phone loooked like new! Even with the low profile design, this is one tough case. Really liked the ribbed grip exterior which creates the grab to keep the phone secure in my hand. Simple design that offers good screen and camera lense protection.

First off let me say I really like Speck Cases. I bought this because I wanted the gripping feature of this case but that was the downfall. The ribs on the back of the case along with the lowered flat area makes it impossible for a Metal Tab to adhere to the back so you can put it on your holder on the dash, it just does not have enough to stick too. I'm bummed because I really wanted that case but it won't work. I will have to return it.

I’ve been using speck cases for years on my past 6 phones. It’s one of the best “grip” cases around. I would offer some advice. Some of their cases have a warranty which is important. The advice is this. If you want to make a claim you must be able to prove where you purchased the case from or you’re out of luck. Customer service isn’t there strong suit. They made good cases that are a good blend of protective and light weight. I will continue to use speck cases my future phones as well. They have a weak spot around the charging port on iPhones since their inception years ago. While they’ve gotten better they still break in that area. Hence being prepared for a warranty claim if you can jump through their hoops.

This is the third case I have ordered for my XS Max. The other two had built-in holders, one a ring and the other a loop (the famous loooy case). The Loopy was a huge fail! My hands would actually get cramps after using it, so disappointed because it was a Xmas gift and it was not cheap. The ring case was also a fail in that the ringer tab was nearly impossible to access.This case is not what I would prefer, in terms of looks, but I have to tell you, it is a strong, secure case that does not feel like you are going to drop the phone if your hand gets wet and it truly protects the phone. I did order a separate accessory to place on the back that will allow an easy hold when reading or taking pictures. So far, so good.

I love this phone case, it has been the only type I've used in the past 5 years. The grip is the best I've found, and it's durable while still thin. All edges are covered and it has a good "lip" that comes onto the front edges.I only recently switched because it's just thick enough where putting a magnetic plate inside for a car mount will make for a less strong hold. I does still hold on the magnet, but I'm also particular about having it be a sturdy hold for bumps and hard turns. Otherwise it's fine.Still my favorite case out there despite that.

Update: This case is junk, the rubber piece in front of the charger broke off. Then the case snapped in half when I took it off. Figured Speck would have a good warranty. Nope. The whole process takes 15-21 days to get a new case. Stay away. I am looking for another thin case for my phone that is more durable.Perfect! I had a Speligan wallet case, that was too bulky for me. This case is perfectly slim, and made of great materials. All Presido cases by Speck have a lifetime warranty. The bottom portion of the case lines up perfectly. I wonder if those complaining know that there are less holes on the left than the right on the XS Max?

Best cases I have found. Well worth the money at full price. I couldn’t pass this one up for the excellent price. I would have preferred the blue / gray, which I had but broke - believe me, it broke because it was finally too stressed after all the other times I dropped it. I drop my phone a lot!This is my third Speck case for this iPhone. My phone looks brand new because these cases are so awesome. I have had my iPhone XS Max for over 3 years now.

I love my iPhone XS Max except for the super slick finish!I know it has to look shiny etc but it is so slick I kept almost dropping it.You know that heart sopping moment as it starts to slip out of your fingers!Before this one I had a perfectly fine thin, clear rubber case but it still had very little grip.I bought this great case and now finally feel like I've got control of it safely.The ridges give a great grip but are not uncomfortable.I never pick it up and feel it slip slightly in my hand.The edges give some protection from drops and the corners are specially made to protect against any impacts.There is a slight lip sitting above the screen which prevents damage to the edge of the screen and raises it slightly if you are placing it face down on a table. They've obviously spent a lot of time designing it this way.The only way I can see you breaking the screen is if you drop it completely flat, face down, onto something like gravel etc.If you're going to spend this much money on an iPhone you'd be daft not to keep it safe from scratches and the odd drop.I know it sounds paranoid but I feel if someone tried to grab it out of my hand, while I was reading at a cafe table for example, I think I would have a good grip on it! (You're not paranoid if they really are out to get you!) :-)I highly recommend this case - your iPhone deserves it!

This is my second Speck Grip case - the one for my iPhone 7 Plus has stood the test of time with only a small break by the speaker, and my phone survived a few falls in it. So I was happy to get a new one for the XS Max, and this one feels that little bit grippier, but perhaps that's just because it is new. Very happy with the case, great value, and would recommend for anyone who wants the best chance of not having your phone fall out of your hands, or slide off a surface.

As someone who is prone to dropping their phone, this case is perfect.- it offers a fairly high degree of protection- unlike some other cases its not too bulky- it looks smart- the case has lines of grippy rubber on the side and back which is useful, but the rest of the case is smooth/hard plastic so it doesn’t get her lots of lint and dust!Would recommend it highly.

Brilliant case with amazing protection.From the moment you put this case on your iPhone you know it’s top tier protection but in a slim non bulky case!!! I’ve tried other cases but always felt that there was very little grip to them. Now with the amazing presidio grip case I feel confident in using my iPhone

This case fits the xs max very well, your phone feels secure and safe and the grippy exterior really helps when holding the phone. So far so good...Update: After 2 months usage the only issue I've found is that when you put the phone down on a flat surface it doesn't lay flat and wobbles.
