Holt Head Collar Black Size 2

The description said this was a HOLT head lead, even the picture on the dog dummy-shows a HOLT head collar with a tag clearly marking it. What you get is a walk 'n lead, and the material is very thin, stitching seems a bit questionable and I have to wonder how long it will last.Now if the seller just put it was a walk 'n lead...then that would be one thing, but labeling as something else to make sales is bad business! I do not like deception, and this review is low for that reason.Honesty goes a long way...

Did not like! I purchased by accident because it popped up when I was looking what I ordered before, so I thought it was the correct one. It "tangled up" (is the only way I know how to describe), and I almost had an anxiety attack trying to figure it out. I found the correct brand and re-ordered it. I would not recommend this particular one.

This works great for my border collie puppy. As soon as it's on she knows that she can't pull. I don't use it every day - just when she's forgetting how to walk well. As others have said though, it's very thin material that likes to get all tangled up.

Beware! This is advertised as a Holt brand head collar, but what was sent was a cheap knock-off. Incredibly cheap looking, material is very thin. Nowhere near the quality of an actual Holt collar. Very disappointed.

This allows us to walk our GSP without having to worry about her yanking the leash really hard. It can be difficult to figure out how to put on and the dog doesn't like it squeezing her nose but after a while you will figure it out and it helps to control a strong sixty pound dog

This collar was miss- advertised. They called it a "Holt" collar. The picture shows a "Holt" brand collar. But I was not sent a "Holt" brand collar. I was sent one called "A walk and Train". It is a fairly nice collar, but not the same quality as the holt collar. I like the Holt better, but it will work . Don't want to waste time sending it back.

A nice alternative to the Gentle Leaders, especially for dogs with short hair that can't stand the rubbing of the Gentle Leaders. They also don't require such an elaborate introduction process as the gentle leaders. The dogs don't LOVE it, but they can actually be utilized as a head collar much quicker than the Gentle Leaders which must be slowly introduced to the dog before using them.

Bought this for my rescue pit that I've been training. It was recommended by the trainer, since the dog has some dominance issues. He is like a completely different dog with this on! The only problem is that on a hot day, he doesn't have a lot of room to pant so it's tough for him to breathe.
