I tend to get very dry skin, especially my hands and legs. This seems to do the trick for normal itch associated with dry skin. I would probably recommend something like Aveeno with calamine in it if you have a chronic problem with itchy skin that's not associated just with dryness.

Yes, it can. I have very dry itchy skin in the winter. Have tried lots of other brands, but St. Ives works best for me. It's also helpful to put it on while your skin is still moist after bathing.

It does not bleach. It has no ingredients that could possibly bleach. It is a nice smelling, medium "weight" moisturizer. I am very allergic and I use this many times all day long, even on my face.
