Not so great
I fell into the whole charcoal-whiten-your-teeth thing and was using the product as directed. I floss my teeth 3 times a day and have them cleaned 4 times a year. After 2 months of use, I went for a dental cleaning and my hygienist showed me that some of the plaque on my molars was actually black! I was mortified. She also told me that the charcoal products are too abrasive to use all the time. Also, I did not notice any whitening. Please consult your dentist before using this product regularly.

It works, but only use a small amount
You definitely see your teeth much whiter in one use. This tooth paste has something to prove against crest 3D white.I had sensitivity issues the first time, but I used a very small amount the 2nd and it was fine. Teeth were Still as white. Think what everyone experiences with sensitivity. Using too much at once

Sucks. Not real toothpaste
Doesn't do the things that actual toothpaste does. Tastes like mint while brushing, you may as well have not even brushed 30 min later because your breath still stinks like a dead dog. Leaves a mess in the sink and on light colored clothing. Makes gums hurt. Perhaps the graphic design team left off a letter, toothpaste is actually called "Hellno". Also took Amazon three weeks to deliver, which was a good thing, because I was still using actual toothpaste while I waited. Never again.

I was and am presently surprised!
I bought this product in an attempt to see if using charcoal to whiten teeth works, but I didn't want to go without flouride because there are some benefits associated with it in toothpaste. I've been using for about 2 weeks now and I've seen daily improvements to the whiteness of my teeth. I'm a regular coffee drinker and this toothpaste has removed almost all surface stains. I would recommend that you get a softer toothbrush before use of this product because it can feel a bit abrasive if using a firm brush. But this has make brushing my teeth one of my favorite parts of the day. It tastes great and isn't overbearing at all. I would gladly buy again!

Not afraid to smile with my teeth
Before this I used some useless brand of activated charcoal powder, and when I found this at Target I was thrilled. But they didn't have the one with fluoride in it at the time so after ordering it online and using it for several weeks I was actually pretty impressed by how clean and minty fresh my teeth and mouth were. The taste is superb, just try it. As for its whitening capabilities, I don't even use this charcoal paste consistently (because I still have some Crest toothpaste left oops lol) and I actually DO see how lighter in color my teeth are... Think of that pale yellow sticky note color-- that's what color my teeth originally were (thank you coffee) and now I dare say it's gotten to a pale yellow-WHITE. I actually LIKE flashing my teeth a little more when smiling... Who am I now?

What a mess!
The activated charcoal leaves black toothpaste splatters on the sink. You're probably thinking that you will not have much splatter, but believe me, you will have more than you expect. If you don't get it washed off soon, then it dries and is harder to clean. This sounds trivial, but after time, it becomes pretty irritating. The possible (and questionable science behind the) benefits of activated charcoal in toothpaste are not worth this irritation.

Improperly formulated
I believe this product is improperly formulated, and destroys enamel. I haven't had sensitive teeth since I was a child, and within 1 week of using this toothpaste my enamel was destroyed. I'm on the AIP diet, and have been for 3 years, so no drastic changes there that my teeth may suffer from. I am back to using Burt's Bees.

Weird experience but great toothpaste
I love this stuff; it tastes quite good and I can see a visible whitening of my teeth from use. It is a bit disconcerting that it is black so when you spit after you're done cleaning your teeth you have to be careful not to make a mess. :-)
