Clean prints. Excellent first layer adhesion.
I have tried so many brands of PLA. The best I have encountered so far is MakerBot's PLA but the cost is just too great. Once I learned Amazon was offering PLA for half what the MakerBot filament was selling for I decided to give it a shot. At first, the settings I was using on my Felix Pro 3.0 with the MakerBot filament wasn't working well. My hot end temperatures were too low. My extrusion multiplier seemed to be too low. My speeds perhaps too fast. I made a few changes. I increased the first layer temperature to 215C,, subsequent layers at 200C, heated bed to 55C, extrusion multiplier at 1.1 and my speed is to 80MM/S using Slic3r. Now my prints are equal, if not better than the MakerBot filament's prints. I also like the way the spool came in shrink wrap. Now I know it wasn't contaminated by dust and other foreign objects while shipping. The photo shown here is of a plastic bushing I printed. The layers were .3mm thick, single wall and rectilinear fill. This is was not made using "high quality" settings and yet it is, high quality. I do notice that the bushing is not as rigid as the bushings printed with other filaments are. There's a bit of flex to it. I understand Amazon's premium filament is not as "rubbery so to speak; hence why it requires higher temperatures to melt. But this flex is fine for what I am doing. I'm very satisfied.

Very good experience and I will definitely buy more
I'm a big fan of wood mimic filaments. I think I have now good experience with it, as I have been playing with many different brands. I was quite intrigued by the Amazon wood PLA when I saw a print of it in Facebook with I almost thought was an SLS print. I got myself a roll and here is my feedback.First off this material is unlike any wood-like filament I ever used. I vaguely recall some discussion about this material saying this is not wood-filled but using a different technology to create the wood texture. This material extrudes very well, way better than any wood-filled filament I have ever used which can easily clog th nozzle. I have run through almost 80% of the roll now and never had a single issue. In terms of surface texture the only wordI can say is amazing! I don't know how they make the wood texture but I have to say I have been waiting for this kind of filament for a long time. I printed a Viking boat in 2 parts. they both came great and the surface quality is insane - the layers are almost invisible. My guess is that the rough texture is hiding the layers resulting in a very nice matte surface.A few notes:1. The filament tends to be more stringy than regular PLA, but it is easy to deal with: I used a heat gun and all the small artifacts just vanished.2. The filament is a bit more brittle than regular PLA so be careful when handling the material. I used a guide tube and it worked very well.3. My best settings have been 195 degree C at 40mm/s. I also increased the retraction a bit more compare to regular PLA.Overall, very good experience with this material and I will definitely buy more.

Orange PLA , odd color , but good results
Bought this in 2018, kept in storage for 2 years, then used it. Printed fine at 210/205C. Has slight stringing but very fine stringing. Color was not bad, definitely orange. Little to no clog at all, so product is quite uniform/good particle size.I tend to buy 1KG spools under $20, 16-19$ is most price range. I am not willing to pay more for them.My go to is often solutech, this performed well against it. I just buy what is on sale/cheap.My only issue is what it tend to like snapping more /slight brittleness if it is held in stress position as I like to keep it in my prusa printer after printing , and not taking it out of the hotend. So I do waste a little of it when I need to print something and a length is just broken off still connected to the hotend but separate from the spool. But this could be due to it being a little old and I live in a 100% humidity environment.Decent pla, decent results, get it on sale.

Great starter filament and for general purpose
I purchased this filament because of it's value pricing, and the 3 spool volume makes it an even better value. I print a lot and experiment with printer parameters and mods. Often I need to print prototypes to test for fit and function. This filament satisfies my needs. The qualities it has are good. Temperature range is on the high end of some PLA, it seems to like 208C on my printer but your value will surely differ. It's not as smooth as some PLA, like eSun PLA+ which in my opinion feels creamy and is great for production prints that need a fine finish. But the quality is good, the diameter is consistent. I use Capricorn tubing which is pretty unforgiving if your diameter is too large by just a small fraction of a millimeter it will drag in the tube and produce uneven perimeter surfaces. When you bend the filament it does so without breaking and takes some work to separate at the bend. It's packaged in a resealable vacuum bag with desiccant and the spool lists temp info and such in many languages. The spool itself is very nice, offering windows on the side so you have a good idea of how much is on the spool with markings for booth the length left and the weight. This is something I've never seen on a spool before, and it should give you a fair idea of what's left on the spool for a given print. Just don't take the marking as gospel. If you print a lot and don't want to spend a lot, this is a great filament source at a very budget price.

Nice wood pla
I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely this wood pla printed. No problems at all. The bird in the photo is printed in the wood pla but was stained as well - which it takes quite nicely to. It doesn't have a shiny surface and prints smooth with the right settings.
