I got this for my 14-month old daughter for Christmas. She loves it. She requests we play in it a couple times a day. She lilies to rock with her baby doll and animal friends. We sing row row your boat, and she has already learned to try to sing along.If you flip it over it becomes steps, which she enjoys climbing. This is a great toy, buy you have to be there the whole time to supervise and help rock. I don't mind at all. I love spending time with my daughter in her boat.The boat IS a little pricey, but it's well made and seems as though it will last. This is also great on rainy or snowy or cold days when the park isn't an option.

We purchased this piece for our daycare center, but did not open it to put together right away. We finally opened it, and the bottom wood slat is splitting (half way across the piece) and all of the dowel rods do not properly fit in the holes. Since we are outside of the 30 days from purchase we cannot exchange or return to see if this was just a fluke. Basically $100 is going into the dumpster. IF you purchase this, make sure you open immediately to avoid this expensive mishap.

I liked least that there was some minor assembly. I loved everything else about the product; it's sturdy, versatile, attractive, inviting!

This is well made and sturdy and solid. What I do not like is how slippery it is to climb(I bought for my 1-year-old who loves climbing stairs and thought this was perfect) I think I will need to modify it and add something like felt to tops.Another thing is it’s a cool rocking sea saw type toy. Problem is I can see my baby breaking her leg or smashing toes easily. Gaps in floor make her toes go under constantly and she likes to slip and slide and has already got her legs way under. Luckily I was there to grab the wood and stop it from breaking her legs from my other daughter playing with her.*** I find this EXTREMELY DANGEROUS on both sides of use. Maybe will be safer when she is older for rocking boat and would be safer with something added for traction on stair climbing side

This boat is very well constructed. The Allen Key that comes with it for assembly is not! The screws that hold the boat together are pretty long and the Allen Key that came with our boat was stripped after tightening three screws. Luckily we had a sturdier one to finish the job. You might want to make sure you have an extra one handy so you're not in a bind if you're putting this together on Christmas Eve!

Very easy to put together. I liked the feel of the finish. It was sanded smooth. The finish also had a nice wood grain look to it. It fits 4 preschool age children well. It’s not to heavy because it turns over and makes steps.

This started showing cracks in less than a year of very gentle use by one baby. Also, there is absolutely no way that it seats 4 children in the boat as the item description states. There are wooden dowls in the center that don’t allow for one child to use by himself. It would be nice if he could sit in that center spot like I've seen in other rocking boats. The step platform was great for my 13 month old that loved to climb. Too bad the quality was so bad.

such a wonderful product. Always a great time watching my 11 month old climb and sit. I have to be extra vigilant when my toddler joins in on the fun. Open ended toys. We were able to enjoy this style of climbing structure in our RIE class and finally decided to use at home. wish i would've had one when my toddler was smaller.
