Yes! I use it in my rental that has very dull hardwood floors that desperately need to be refinished but the owner doesn't want to do it. It makes my floors go from dull and dirty-looking to shiny and clean.

Is this kid and pet safe?

Once hardened, I have never had problems with kids or animals (cats mostly) being exposed to it. I have used this for years (well, the previous version of it as well). My advice: Keep kids and animals off of the floor until it has completely hardened and dried. I'm not sure how safe it might be wet on paws or little hands. The label should also advise about this.

which product is this-the original (blue/yellow/white label) or new formula (brown/yellow label)? i am looking for the original-which shines)

Hi, I think the "original" product was called "Future". I've been using Pledge floor care for years. IT'S GREAT!!! I buy the 6 pack. My bottle labels look different but say the same info as on the one pictured here. They just changed the label. Like the yellow part says, it's a new look. It works about 95% as good as Future. Not as viscous and a tad less shine. But still has an amazing shine and smell. Long wear ability and easy wet mop to clean the floor and perk up the shine. Funny I should get this question today as I'm doing my floors with it today. A tip for you after you use the bottle. Take the blue top off and run it under hot water while opening and closing the pop spout. Trust me, it will make it easier the next time you use it.
