Great Device
I installed the pickup on classical guitar, Cort100 AC. You must be handy to install it without detailed installation instructions. Here are some tips:- Release the strings completely to get the required access. ( it is a good time to change the strings)- Drill the hole in the rear , see picture, starting with small diameter going gradually up to 12mm hole- Since the thickness of the body is unknown, remove all the bolts leaving the safety washer, notice the side of the teeth, should be toward the body of the guitar. Add bolts and adjust as required. See picture.- Install all parts carefully placing the piezo wire close to the most resonance location ( like close to the main hole) glue with silicon, in few places. After all it sounds like a pro guitar

Good sound for the price
This pickup sounds good so far. I've only tested it once, but it sounded good hooked up to a fairly large PA system and didn't feedback off microphones and monitor speakers until the volume was turned all the way up on the pickup. Both portions of the pickup system work and the microphone blended with the piezo provides a warmer and richer tone than standard piezoelectric can on its own.The installation is pretty straightforward if you have changed your own strings (or adjusted the neck of your own guitar). After loosening all the strings completely, I used my phone to take photos and video of the inside of the guitar. The one thing that will be fairly key to the installation of the pickup is if your guitar has a piezo hole in the bridge (this is a small hole drilled on the inside of the bridge of many acoustic guitars which allows for the small piezoelectric wire to be inserted and pickup the sound vibrations from the bridge of the guitar). I was lucky and didn't have to drill a hole on the back of my guitar and was able to use the existing one. If you do have to drill: use a new drillbit and be aware that it could be 1/2"-3/4" of wood you will be drilling through.

Doesn't Work. Good idea but terribly delivered.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is actually an update review, if you want to read my first review just scroll down so you can verify that I gave the product a good chance to prove itself. Also watch the video with headphones, I recorded my guitar with this microphone. So, I received the second GGP-01, thank you Amazon for making the exchange easy and fast. I really wanted to be good this time, as I said before I really like this idea and it was what I was looking for, unfortunately it is not very well manufactured. I installed it and this time the signal wouldn't drop down suddenly, with is good, but the microphone sounded equally distorted. with the first one I was hopping to be only a broken diaphragm but it is just a very poor manufactured and bad microphone. The piezo under the saddle sounded as good as the first one but the attractive about this product is the combination of both microphones, you can find better sounding piezo microphones.I don't recommend this product. Terrible sound.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I was very exited about this product, it has good reviews and it was exactly what I was looking for. I have a Classic Ovation from 1976, it's been in the family for a long time, so not only its a great guitar but it has an additional emotional value. It needed a new pick up, so I was looking for an Under Saddle Pick Up, and this item offers a great versatile option combining an under the saddle pick up and an actual small acoustic mic to capture the acoustic sound from the body of the guitar. Includes individual volume for each signal and a general Tone knob and a phase reverse between the two signals, in theory it's a great idea!Installation is very easy if you look for the installation video on Youtube, instructions included are not bad but I strongly recommend to watch the video. It's very well constructed, sturdy, mostly metal. Now the reason I am giving 3 stars: After installing it I recorded on ProTools separately each signal; only Mic (Tone opened and closed), only Piezo (Tone opened and closed), Both signals in phase (Tone opened and closed) and Both signals off phase (Tone opened and closed). The mic sounded very distorted, like a damaged diaphragm or signal saturation, no mater where the volume knob was. The piezo sounded very good, better than I expected. But both signals would break down constantly, even with no movement.I am exchanging it, so I will update this review after I receive and test the new one. I really hope it was just a defective item and the second one works perfectly because it's exactly what I am looking for this guitar.

The instructions are a little confusing but it's pretty much cut and dry
I absolutely love this pick up what they don't tell you is does not come with a Piezo you have to install that yourself. It's kind of setup for guitar that already has Piezo pickup and you want a Piezo so that you have something to reverse the polarity with for different sound you can also mix the two sounds so I ordered an inexpensive Piezo

Great bang for the buck
I bought it as a lark, to see how good it could be. It took some time to find the sweet spot, but it sounds great. I put it in my 1981 Yamaha FG-336SB, which has a solid spruce top and has a lot of projection. I went 60/40 mic to piezo through a Bose L1 system, and it really does sound nice. I put it through a Baggs Venue DI, and notched out any feedback. I can tell the difference between it and the LR Baggs Anthem, but I doubt my listeners can.

Good value. Superb customer service.
I could not make the original part work. I contacted tech support and they ended up sending me a new one as a free replacement. Very happy with thatThat been said, installation is simple enough. Again, customer support provided a lot more detailed instructions. Gets a little bit getting used to control the mic blend but all in all, a good device.

Sounds as good as a $250 acoustic soundhole mic pick-up.
Product arrived in flawless condition(minus two batteries....description and owner's manual said four included).Used as a primary source on a Fender acoustic/electric and installed without the included piezo bridge pick-up. Microphone section is clear and has excellent feedback resistance.

Very disappointed
Could not get it to work, no mike sent with it, was a clumsy mount. When trying to contact the seller for assistance as promoted I received no response.
