Great product! Wide range of fit, well made, doesn't bounce!
I came to receive this in a round about way and Gear Beast did send it to me for free. I had shopped around and ordered it but when I received the package it contained a armband for your phone which was not what I wanted and back it went. Amazon did it's thing, I got my refund and proceeded to order this again, same result! And back it went :-/ Gear Beast emailed me to find out how I liked the belt and I told them about my experience. They sent the belt to me for free! Excellent customer service!! I was excited to try this product because the armbands drive me a little crazy and I can't easily adjust the volume. Also, I thought this product would serve multiple purposes and it has done just that. Admittedly, I lived through the fanny pack era and I was a bit reluctant to give this a try. But just like the fanny pack, this is stinkin' handy, dang! I use it for running and started out keeping it lower, between my waist and hips, thinking it would hop around and bug me if I didn't. It wasn't too long before it crept up to where it was loosely around me but surprisingly, didn't bounce. I have worn it several times now and the first few times, it being new, I was conscious of it but it didn't bother me. Now I put it on and forget about it. There is plenty of room for my iPhone 5S, keys, and remote for my dog's collar. When I'm running I only keep my phone in it but if I am hiking I need more stuff with me and it has all the room I need. The material is stretchy so a lot more stuff than I would ever want could be stored in it. The zippers seem of a good quality. The buckle is very sturdy. The size adjusts a lot so it can fit a very wide range of bodies. Also the belt material is stretchy so there is a lot of functionality in the fit. If I was going to make a suggestion to Gear Beast it would be that there be some sort of gripping material on the side that is against your body so that it stays where it is originally placed. At least I thought that when I was fighting it trying to keep it down. Now that I have realized it doesn't bounce (not sure why not) it really isn't an issue. There is a port on the inside at one end of one pocket to allow your headphones cord to come out which is quite handy. I place my phone sideways with the volume buttons up and can easily adjust the volume as I run. Those arm bands have always bugged me, too tight for comfort or too loose to stay in place, this is a great solution. I'm very happy I own this product and I thank Gear Beast and Amazon for making it happen!

As Advertised, Pocket Protein Not Included
I am very pleased with this belt for the price I paid ($10), but probably wouldn't pay more than $20 for it. It does exactly what it says, though, except I have no idea how they fit those Pocket Protein drinks in those tiny bands. I can barely fit my thumb through there, let alone a juice pack. It's mildly disappointing, as it would be nice to have a place for some hydration products. My roommate has another belt like this that does have space for a small water bottle, which is more convenient. That being said, I do enjoy the high quality of the product, the waterproof interior, and how comfortable the belt is to wear. As others have pointed out, it is very multipurpose. Anywhere you need to go where you don't want to bring a purse or don't have pockets big enough (hikes, beach, theme park, even around town), this is the perfect little companion belt, and it's not that noticeable. It fits my phone (Samsung Galaxy S6 Active) and some cards/cash in one pocket, though doesn't fit my whole wallet. At first, I wore it right around my waist, but I've moved to wearing it high on my hips instead, as it actually acts as a real belt, keeping my athletic pants in place, which have a tendency to slip down my hips! It's easy to take on and off, stretchy, flexible and has adjustable straps as well, so it could fit many different body types. I have wide hips and I still tighten the straps to keep it in place, if that helps. Also, I got the pink/purple version, and I LOVE the color. Looks way better in person.

I personally feel like the pockets are too narrow
This is the 1st running/fit belt I have bought. I personally feel like the pockets are too narrow. It DOES fit my iPOD, but I am always nervous while putting it in and taking it out. The buckle on the back is a real pain when trying to do leg presses(the one at our gym is the kind where you lie on your back) and things on a bench, bench press for example. I have to twist it so the buckle is not digging into me. BUT, it does the job.

Perfect for trips to the theme park
I am not a runner, so I cannot review this product for that purpose. We are planning a trip to Universal Studios and I was looking for a belt to carry my phone, ID/money, and small compact camera. This belt is perfect. It is large enough to wear low across my hips (44 in). I did say I wasn't a runner! The pockets are the same size and expand from the back to hold a ridiculous amount. I will be able to carry my phone and money/ID in one pocket and my small compact camera in the other. Now, as we get on and off rides at the theme park, I will not have to place my things in a locker. I will update this review after our trip to report how the belt held up and how easy it was to use.

Hands free at the gym
2nd update:After about 2 months of gentle use, the zipper separated from the pouch. Total disappointment. Don't waste your money.UPDATE:After about 2-3 weeks of use (not daily), the plastic inside one of the pockets is tearing off from the bag. A little disappointed, since this is supposed to help keep everything dry.Original review:I bought this to wear to the gym, so that I wouldn't have to worry about my car keys and where to put them. It fits perfectly and has adequate space. When I move from the treadmill to the weight machines, I also put my cell phone in too, so that I can continue listening to music. It is compact, but can expand to meet my needs, which I love. I wear over my pants, but under my shirt, and I don't think that it is noticable.Highly recommend, since it lets me be hand-free and cuts down on my anxiety of losing things or having someone steal them.

Great fanny pack but for counting of steps not so much
It's a great compact fanny pack. I brought it so I can take my phone on my runs but it counted every jingle in my phone as a step. 2000 steps counted was really 1600. So I decided to try your armbands next.
