CyberPower CPTDC1U2DC USB Charger, 2.1 Amp USB Port, Dual DC Outlets, Compact Design

I had a similar device made by another company that worked perfectly until I broke it. I researched chargers of this type before buying this model. It will charge my radar detector well. It will not accept my cell phone charger, however. It does have a USB port and comes with a short USB cord that will allow me to charge my cell phone. I have a convertible that only has one power port, so I need a device that will allow me to use my GPS, my radar detector and charge my phone simultaneously. I haven't used the GPS unit along with the radar detector yet. When I do, I'll supplement this review.

This plugs into my cigarette lighter socket just fine and the flexible base is nice so it can get as much out of the way of my stick shift as possible. The USB port works fine, as does the larger socket for my radio transmitter so I can play my iPhone music through my car's sound system. However, the other socket didn't work for my dual-USB adapter, so I knocked off a star.

it is a car charger with a port that swivels thus the issue.The swivel is too loose, and makes the unit very difficult to use as it fumbles in your hands.after few weeks it falls apart, and danger to your car and devices.

The USB part didn't work from the onset. I know nothing about these things and just put it in my car - thinking I was actually using it. When my phone and GPS didn't charge correctly I couldn't work out what the problem was. Eventually, my sons hoping my sons looked at in detail (after all my complaining) and we tried it in their cars etc, I finally realised it NEVER worked in the first place. I couldn't return it because it was PAST the official return date. My advice - buy one from Best Buy etc - at least you can go straight back to the store and get a replacement.

I have found this very useful as I have lots of stuff that needs charging or operating in my work vehicle. I have had several other gzmos like this and this one has good tough construction and stay plugged in well.

One of the issues with a RV is having enough "plug power" to plug in one of the many accessories. The I Phone, GPS and Video Camera all run on 12 volt DC. The Cyber Power is perfect and I like the additional USP port. Great value and I would highly recommend it.

Worked great for a couple of days, and then it started creating a burning smell like a hair dryer. I do not trust this product not to start a fire.

Broke after 1 month

Couldn't find what I wanted , this did in a pinch but not as well.

This product did NOT WORK out of the box & would NOT recommend it.

Great Product....is much bigger than it looks (i prefer smaller) but works great. They also deliver quickly.
