Bright Starts Safari Smiles Bouncer

I purchased this for my second baby to keep upstairs so I wouldn't have to carry the Rock N Play all around the house, as I'd done with my first. I was hoping this bouncer would be lightweight and portable so that I could easily carry it from room to room. While it is lightweight, it's actually really cumbersome to move around. There's no handle (the toy bar pops right out) and it doesn't fold down at all, so if I tried carrying it from room to room with one hand (baby in the other), it would be bumping into door frames and walls. I leave it in our bathroom and ended up buying a baby lounger for the other rooms upstairs.This bouncer is also seriously no-frills. It has music, but it turns off after only a couple minutes. I can't even take a quick shower without it turning off. It would be nice if there was an option for it to be motion-activated (although I realize this bouncer is at a low price point, so I can easily look past this).My other issue with this bouncer is that it's at a fairly steep incline, which isn't great for a newborn. It doesn't have any cushioning to help cradle a small baby, so the baby could easily flop around. My baby always looks kind of scrunched in it, no matter where I try to position him.All in all, I would definitely not purchase this bouncer again. I'd honestly probably just buy another Rock N Play. While I didn't enjoy carrying it up and down the stairs, it does fold up, which makes it easier to move around, and it securely holds my baby.

I absolutely love this bouncer! My last bouncer broke because it was passed around among my family so by the time it got to me it was already well used. I was on the lookout for a new bouncer and came across this one. I love the simplicity of the design and it sits in a high enough position so it does not touch the floor when I bounce my baby. My son loves the toy attachments as well! He is very much drawn to the red bird and is always going for that toy among the others. The seat belt is very comfortable for him and does not dig into his skin like other bouncer seat belts have in the past. I love the animal print on the bouncer as well. It is vibrant, colorful and fun for my child. The design can be for either girls or boys so that is another great feature of this bouncer. The bounce is perfect and not overwhelming. My son falls asleep in the bouncer for his naps every time! This is one product every parent should have for those babies who need a little extra help calming down or for taking their naps. Wonderful bouncer!

So far, love this bouncer!The animal theme is really cute. Bright colors! It was very easy to put together, easy instructions. My almost 2 month old boy seems to enjoy it! He smiles and seems content. The bar comes on and off easily. I like how the seat is deep, and I feel like my son is safe in it. The bouncer plays music, 2 levels, and goes off if left on. The vibration works well, but it stays on till you turn it off. My son likes looking at animals on the bar, loves to kick his feet.I had researched on several other more expensive bouncers, but think I made the right choice here!I def recommend!I do note though, if you have a toddler, don't let them push on the bouncer or try to get in it!

Came in its cute box so of you're giving this as a gift, you can wrap it up. I got this at a great price as it was cheaper than most bouncers out there. Easy to put together in like 5 minutes. Sturdy enough as my son is using it at 6 months old. Fabric is nice, strong and I love the vivid colors. There is a vibrating button and a music button. There are two volumes on the music button. It plays several songs continuously then stops after the series. You have to turn the music button off and back on again for more music. The handle bar with dangling toys is iffy as you just insert it into the holes on the sides but it doesn't lock/click/snap in place. So if baby is super strong, they can pull it or kick it out. Otherwise, it's great for the price I paid and a good place to put baby down while I tend to things around the house.

I bought a bouncer chair from this brand at BabysRus and I thought this was the same, but I didn't realize that it was a most basic model. There are three main problems: first, it's quite a bit reclined backward, more like a napper than a bouncer chair. Second, there is no head rest, so my baby tend to slide down to the side and curl up. Third, the bar with the toys is very low, I foresee baby will start kicking it out of place very soon. For the price it's ok, but I wouldn't buy it again.

This is value for money and super easy to assemble althoug you need a little but of force to put the music box on.My daughter loves this bouncer and she could probably spend hours in it if we allowed her. Its very reclined compared to other bouncers, but this seems to keep her little head and neck in a more stable position since she cannot het hold it herself. I do believe, she will outgrow it around 4 months of age as her legs will become so long that her feet will start to hit the metal wire holding the chair when she kicks and plays. She is currently 1.5 months so we think the money is ok spent for the time she will use it.

This is a terrible product. We used it three times and the vibrator stopped working. We figured it was the batteries so we replaced them. No, it still doesn't work. The only way the vibrator works is if you squeeze the plastic box tight with your hand. Waste of money. Also the toy bar is flimsy and doesn't stand up right. Very cheaply made.

I have been using this for about a month now for my little one. Although the price of this bouncer is great, I wish I would have spent a little more and got something nicer. The vibration of this bouncer is already not as good as when I first turned it on. The vibration is very light most of the time and then some times it will just kick in and works better. New batteries did not seem to do the trick. My little guy does not enjoy this bouncer as much as he did when we first got it. The only pro I found with this bouncer is that it is very light and easy to move around.
