Sizing Die is DISAPPOINTING - WARRANTY NOT SO GREAT EITHER
I purchased this set knowing I would get great results with the bullet seater which seats and crimps 327 loads very nicely in ONE STEP. Pleasantly surprised is the expander die, which is set to expand JUST ENOUGH for a bullet to be positioned for minimal seating effort. Both dies are great. But not so great is the sizing die which resizes this cartridge TOO AGGRESSIVELY; in my case, instead of coming close to the .337 specifications, it resizes to .334. Doesn't sound like an issue, right? Hornady Support doesn't think so either. After contacting them for warranty support and service via their website, they tell me .334 is within the -.006 Saami tolerance with respect to the published specification, implying there's nothing for them to do. Ok--so now I know where Hornady stands regarding ACCURACY of their dies. Let's compare this to a similar experience I had with Lee.Several months ago, I noticed a similar difference with my Lee .45 sizer and sent them the sizer and explanation of the measurements I observed. They serviced the sizer and brought it within -.001 tolerance and returned it within one week of shipping the unit to them with a hand-written note telling me what they did. This is not the fist time Lee has come through regarding their dies. The difference in warranty and service is evident to me regarding who stands behind their products and knows their customers best. I will be keeping the Hornady die set only because the seater and expander dies are really superb, but will likely buy a Lee sizer and throw the Hornady die into a backup box if ever I'm desperate. There is a similar review posted here on Amazon that should be of interest to those of you who expect more from Hornady regarding the lack of accuracy with their resizing dies. I'm not sure I would have been convinced I would be experiencing the same issue had I read it before deciding to buy the 327 Hornady set. But at least it's good to see VALIDATION from another re-loader and know it's not just me. BTW--I've been reloading since the 70's. Good so far
So without an overly long winded review Hornady dies are great. I’d recommend these for most people no problem. I’ve been reloading for years and typically use Redding dies however I didn’t want to spend the high dollar price for reloading 223 for my AR and I now regret it. What I’m noticing is that with compressed loads the seating die is deforming the tips on heavier bullets. 69 grain SMK, 70 grain Nosler RDF, and 75 grain Hornady BTHP all get deformed by the seating for when approaching max load. I need to lead near max to match the load with my ballistic reticle and this is certainly affecting accuracy. From what I understand I need the stem for larger bullets. Currently ordered and awaiting deliveryI’ll upload Results with the new stem6/27/18 - Update: I purchased the new stem for seating larger bullets up to 80 grains and saw absolutely no change. Every bullet seated still was deformed unless I dialed back my charge significantly. Given that 26 grains of the powder I was using was widely accepted as a safe load I was certainly disappointed that these dies could not seat without damaging the bullet. My load was for 69 grain Sierra Match Kings, Hornady 223 Brass, CCI #400 Primers, and 26.0 Grains of Varget.I ended up returning these dies along with the stem and purchasing a set of dies from Redding. The cartridges loaded through Redding dies were a 100% improvement. No damaged bullets and I was able to shoot some unbelievable groups out of my AR. Like 5 shot groups in 1 ragged hole at 100 yards and 1.2 inch groups at 200 yards.Final Thought: If you plan on loading 65 grain Game King bullets or anything lighter I think these Hornady dies would be just fine and at a very good price. If you want to load precision ammo with heavier bullets that can give you the maximum accuracy potential at longer distances, I strongly suggest you look at Redding.

Third die is NOT a crimp die
Normally when you get a 3 die set you get a sizing/de priming die, Seating die, amd a crimp die. This set comes with a belling die instead and has the crimp built into the seating die. They are not clear about this. I hate seating and crimping in the same die. Seating and crimping in one procedure is not as accurate as having the the 2 procedures done separately. So I bought a Lee crimper. For the money I should have just bought a Lee set in the first place.

Not the dies I ordered
I have to give it 5 stars because hornady dies are great and for used they look like they were brand new. But I selected a used option under 9mm makarov dies. The funny thing is it came up as 40/10mm dies but they are not listed under 40/10mm dies drop down in the same listing. I knew I was going to keep.it either way. But lesson learned when you see a die set that might not be the one you are looking for, but cheap. Add to cart and see if its a different listing. This came from the amazon warehouse so boo on them.

I own all the big name dies HORNADY is at the TOP
I own RCBS 44 mag die, 9mm RCBS, Dillon 10/40 die, 45 ACP Redding but was having a problem with bullet seating stem. It come with only 1 stem and with FP bullets it puts a ring and crushes the bullet some. So I bought the HORNADY SET wow what a difference. 1 has 2 stems one with a flat seater for FP and Open style for RN bullets 2. Big thing is the bullet guide it comes down about a 1" to align the projectile before it goes into the die. Of all the dies I own I really like these. Also must have if running a PROGRESSIVE PRESS is the HORNADY BULLET FEEDER wow even without a tube to put extra 20-30 bullets in there it sets the bullet where it needs to be and if set correctly it just sets it enough to not fall over. Wow. So glad I don't have to spend $300+ of ele bullet feeder I have $800 in my Dillon 650 with the automatic case feeder that is a must

Probably the best bang for your buck!
Fantastic! I'm fairly new to reloading but so far I definitely prefer the custom series dies over the American series, it has that helpful alignment sleeve which lines up the bullets prior to meeting the die which for polymer tips is just the business! These came with the titanium nitride sizing die meaning that you don't need to lube the case and there is no risk then of contaminating the cases or primer. It's saved me hours on reloading! And it's very affordable!
