Very nice gun safety cabinet
Received in perfect shape. This safe was worth every penny! It is not the greatest around, but for the money and basic gun security, it is an awesome deal. It does exactly as advertised, keeping guns safe from curious kids and folks. The safe needs to be bolted down due to fairly light weight. The safe is definitely large and deep and it fits 1 pistol and some ammo and a Derringer on the shelf above and 2 scoped rifles and 2 shotguns with a bunch of ammo in the bottom part. The locking mechanism works flawlessly so far. I will put a battery motion light in.Overall, I do love this safe and I'm satisfied with it based on price and value.

Not a Quick Access Safe.
No fingerprint reader. No Motion detection. Mediocre and noisy lock mechanism. It will keep your average kid out, provide he doesn't have access to metal cutting tools.. It does meet CA DOJ requirements. If you want silent access to a home defense weapon, just leave the safe door open at night and hope the dog wakes you up before the intruder or child comes into the room. Or just keep the weapon under your pillow or on the night stand. I didn't return it because I destroyed the packing, unpacking it, I secured it to the wall and floor and there are no children in my household. If a thief is going to take the guns out, I suppose they'll have a time of it unless the safe key is fairly generic and they have one.

Very convenient size for a basic storage safe. The quality matches the value.
Decent-sized and fits in a closet. It's not very heavy duty though, but good for storage. The electronic controls are easy to program and work well. The lockable box (keyed) inside the safe is in big bonus.

Fills a need
Is this safe anything special? No. It is very much on the cheap end. But does it fill its purpose of simplistic security. Yes. This will be replaced by something larger, infinitely more secure, and fire safe

Came damaged
Came with huge dent on top and metal split open as well. So guess it wouldn’t be hard to break into now right. You could easily stick a crow bar in it and pry it open. Waste of money

Better off buying something else
Very cheaply built product, the lock mechanism is poorly designed. Electronic components don’t work so I ended up web a safe that uses the key only. The door when shut moves with about 1/4 inch of freeplay.

Not a very sturdy safe for the money.
Features were good...just not heavily built,

What you need to know to reset unlock code and biometric.
To reset the factory code, press the 1 five seconds until the green light comes on. Then input one of the old codes (111 or 123) then the #. Then input your new code and press # (once). Then reinsert the same new code and # (once) again. It will beep different and the lights will change. Then it will be your new code. Do not attempt to use the directions for this task.To reset Biometric press the green button two to three seconds (if the green light does not come on within a few seconds it wont work, stop and retry several minutes later). With green light on, place a finger on the reader. When it beeps (1-2 seconds after placing finger on reader) remover finger 1 second, then place the same finger back on the reader until it beeps again (one to two seconds). Remove finger and a third time place the same finger on the scanner. it will beep different and that finger will be saved to the safe.Don't stop now, immediately place a new finger on the scanner and repeat the process until you have at least 4 to 6 fingers registered (at least two different fingers on each hand). This way you have a quick way to open the safe in case you get one or more fingers shot off before you get to you safe.
