Dryer Works Again
Thermostat was located on the blower ductwork at the bottom of the dryer. Access involved removal/installation of a multitude of parts but allowed cleanout of cabinet interior and multimeter checkout of other sensors and heater elements. My GE Dryer had two similar, 4-terminal thermostats with different temp ratings. Ensure you identify the faulty item prior to ordering.

Easy DIY Solution
This was a DIY repair to a Fisher/Paykel dryer that we really love. The old, inoperative thermostat would not allow the dryer to heat. With the new thermostat dryer maintains proper drying temp and is gentle on the clothes.
