Existence and development ...
I chose the grow bags as they are both practical and made of ethical material. I live in a flat with no garden, am someone who loves nature and is excited at the prospect of nurturing vegetables and herb from seeds, watching them germinate and become beautiful plants. My heart is full of gratitude.

Arrived today and broke today
Arrived today and broke today. It is easy to put strawberry plants in the pockets and fill up with soil but its very heavy to manoeuvre so plant in the place you want it to stay . I tried to turn it around not even lift it up and one handle just ripped so now it’s stuck where it rests.

Quite robust in construction
The bag is well thought out in that the entries are staged to give an all round area to use. The material is quite workable in that when filled the bag stays in shape. One extremely good point is that it has two handles to make moving or turning a doddle. I put my bags on old 18 inch flags and with two layers of house brick below that raise the bags so bottom layers do not get excessive contamination from the soil beneath. Being portable they can be situated in area that needs filling bearing in mind that they will need a good situation for catching the sun. I put 12 straw roots in the bag eight in the orifices and four in the top. Watering is quite easily done all round. Only drawback there is no tap on the bottom for some Devon Cream !!! I used enriched DIY compost and not soil as it does help with the overall weight. PS I am not the manufacturer but a VERY keen vegetable grower.

Space saving eco-friendly planter
Bought two of these as a package with the strawberry plants. Not the cheapest way of providing fresh fruit, butlooking forward to first crop - nothing better than fruit straight off the plant into the kitchen. The bags take quite a bit of filling with compost, but are well designed, with just the right space for the plants to grow. From experience I'd not recommend placing these directly on light coloured paving, as they do leave compost stains after a season. The carry handles are really usefully placed, but wet compost does take fair amount of hefting so recommend putting the plants in to just dampened compost, with full watering once in position. Also need to turn the containers every day if up against a fence or wall.

Plan your season.
A strong and sturdy growing bag. Don't forget that if you order purchase this item, browse the strawberry plants that are available on Amazon and order those at the same time. I would also recommend that you get a good variety of plants so you early, mid season and late season so you have fruit right through the spring and summer.Happy growing.

Looks good. Just don't try to move it.
Planted both bags up with strawberries. Easy. Before watering I needed to move the bags. Trying to do so using the handles, the material of the bag tore around both handles, leaving 4 gaping holes. To avoid the same thing happening with the other bag, I manhandled. Not easy with soil and 10 plants in it.I have contacted the seller. Not really wanting to empty the bags to return them, I have asked for one replacement bag.Watch this space....

Do not buy.
I thought these would be a good idea to grow my strawberries in ,how wrong can you Bethel looked fairy well when I looked at them when they were delivered but as soon as I went to fill them it was a different story ,the pockets as soon as I wet to plant the strawberries were coming unstitched and letting the soil come out buy the time I had god to the top and went to plants my last few plants and went to move it the bottom came right out leaving all the soil and plants on the path so I had ro reclaim my older pots .it you want something to put strawberries in these are not the ones . Waste of money as they both ended up in the bin.

Deep enough to plant blueberries
Arrived quickly. Look nice. Appear to be relatively sturdy. 4 strawberry pockets per row for 2 rows. Believe the pockets to be deep enough. Planting a blueberry bush using the centre portion, then 4 strawberry plants on top row to allow for runners. Using 1 for cucumbers. Not planted yet so could only give 4 stars. If they hold up for more than 1 season then they would get 5 stars. After using them and trying to move one the material ripped around the handles and across the bag.Next season will use either pallets or burlap bags.
