size slightly off, but it definitely keeps the room dark
We bought this because our kids were waking up right when the sun came up and the blinds we had didn't keep the room dark enough. I measured the window, and chose this one because it fit with the measurements. But it ended up being about an inch too short. So there's a little light that gets in, but it DEFINITELY works well to keep the light out. Even being an inch short, the room stays much darker and my kids are sleeping an additional 30-60 minutes each night.

Harder to trim down compared to big box options, but hard to beat on price. Would consider buying again.

Doesn't go all the way back up!
The shade rebounds a bit when pulled down, and does not go all the way back up. It hangs down about 18" from fully open (crooked at that). Will be returning.
