It's true that it's difficult to loop the ends on a finished arm of these snowflakes, but I've been making these for years and this is the BEST product of its type I've ever used. The gauge is fine enough that even seed beads thread easily onto them, yet somehow they are the sturdiest of all the various brands I've used (there have been many). The center, where the arms are joined, is well-soldered and yet extremely flat. With good tools most people can loop the end; I've treated the loops pretty roughly, have heard a "snap" when I lost the grip and thought I must have broken the wire, but I have not broken off the end of a single one and have used an entire package so far. If it's just impossible for you to loop the end, you can use clear rubber earring-back stoppers or put a dot of super glue on the end before setting the last bead. I love that it's a simple enough project for my 4 year-old grandson to create something lovely, though my own creations are more elaborate than ever, owing to the ability to use any size bead (and any size bead hole) on this product. I can't rave enough about these snowflake forms simply because it's the product I've been searching out for many years. Will buy again.

When I started buying this product, they seemed to be more sturdy, but the last couple of times I purchased them, they break really easy. So I am not happy with the quality of them. I wish I could talk to someone about it. Especially for what I am paying for them and not being able to use only about half of what I buy.

Had one break. Adults using. Don't recommend for youth to use these. Otherwise they're great.

These worked alright for beaded snowflakes. A small portion had faulty soldering, but most were ok. They take a bit of wrist strength to turn over the ends of the rods. A bit of glue on the end bead might do the job without having to bend the end of the wire.

Ive purchased these a few times and have had a couple fall apart on me, which was a problem as it was after it was made into an ornament for someone else. Now I wiggle each one to test where the wires are joined. MOST of them are fine!

Easy to "sting" the beads to make beautiful snowflake ornaments. The gauge of the wire ( 22 or 20) makes it difficult to to make a loop as the mfr suggests but a smaller gauge (24) wouldn't be strong enough to hold the beads without bending.

I think it’s difficult to bend and I had the case of one star’s “beam” just breaking without any doing. Also the connection is sometimes not clean put together. Other than that, I think it’s a great idea and easy to create.

These were great. I gave it 1 star less than perfect because they are not as sturdy & I broke a few trying to bend ends for beads to stay on.

used theses to make beaded Christmas decorations for which they were perfect. The wire is sturdy, and fthe beads fitted very easily.

Love this product for crafting, didn't love how long it took to come in.

I am having a lot of fun with these. They will make a star topper for a smaller tree (they finish out at about 5" diameter). Unless you have a big, strong tree, they are probably too heavy done in glass and crystal, as I have here. They would make fantastic holiday (or not) suncatchers, though. They could be done with acrylic, as well, and they'd be a lot lighter. I've used these when I need a special hostess gift, and they have been very well received. Personally, I would consider different sizes for different "jobs" next year. They are great. Very sturdy and easy to work with. It does take some muscle to loop the ends!

Now I will be playing with spider webs using the snowflake frame to go with my bead spiders. It is so much fun trying things out...you might have to redo the design many times, but once it works...Yeah! Looking at forms from a different perspective is one thing I do well and love doing. Can you do Macrame on these frames? Can you weave on these frames. There are so many options! Have fun with these frames!
