Bright Beginnings Soy Pediatric Nutritional Drink, Vanilla, 8oz Cans 6-Count, (Pack of 4)

My daughter had a few surgeries and she lost a lot of weight. She’s lactose intolerant so they gave her a few of these boxes and they worked great. She loves that flavor and it did the job. She loves the flavor. It does make her constipated but I give her a stool softener and she’s good. The only thing I don’t like is the price. Wayyyyy too expensive compared to pediasure. Also I hate that I can’t buy in store because then I could use my EBT card which would be helpful since I am a single mom doing it all on my own. But hey it’s for my kid and she comes first.

Our child has multiple food allergies (including milk) and is a very picky eater. We had tried all the soy based infant formulas, pediatric powder "milks", soy beverages and she hated all of them (can not blame her, most of them are disgusting). Our pediatrician recommended Bright Beginnings and we are amazed at how tasty (yes, we tried it) and nutritious it is. Finally, a product our child likes! Just wish they had more flavors and came packaged in little boxes with straws like fruit juices.

I am thankful for this product. My daughter was diagonized with "Failure to Thrive". The gastroenterologist and the nutrionist recommended this product. I was initially doubtful if my daughter was going to like the taste. She is a picky, fussy eater. She hates soy milk. So I ordered the smaller pack. Daughter seems to like it and drinks it without much fuss. She seems to have gained good weight after havingAt times I do feel that there is sort of metallic smell, maybe because of the can. But right now I dont have any other option. DD does not seem to notice.It is available only in Amazon and couple of other websites. Amazon has the lowest price. I have checked for the same product in Walmart, BJ's, Shoprite, Stopnshop. But no such luck.

I ordered this product because my daughter who's 4 is a very picky eater. She also has a dairy allergy so it was hard finding any pediatric drink that had no dairy in it in stores. When I ran across this drink i ordered it in hopes that it would give her the nutrients she needs, maybe an appetite ( as a plus ) AND in hopes that it had a good taste to it. Well as soon as we received it (which is today the day I'm writing this ) she was super excited to open it and try it. The packaging is cute which made her want to try it even more. And she actually loves it she wanted another one after she tried one. I'm super happy and hopefully she starts eating better and even if she doesn't I know this will give her enough nutrients in place of one meal.

My son has an allergy to cow's milk (true milk allergy, not just to lactose) and can't tolerate milk-based products like Pediasure. He's been drinking the Bright Beginnings Soy Pediatric Drink for YEARS. This supplements his diet - and, is the only milk substitute nutritional drink I've ever been able to find. Bonus: He loves the taste.I'm giving it one star because lately the price on a 4-pack/case has been moving up and down like the darned stock market. Generally, it's around $39, lately it's been as high as $57. Ummm, no. And, the price will fluctuate within hours. I'm waiting for it to drop... and waiting...

Have a service that delivers this product to us once a month, but sometimes supplies runs short or the milk isn't delivered in time. So, have the option to order on Amazon is awesome!!! Gives me reassurance. Delivery is very fast.Milk has be great for my daughter, as it gives her the calories she needs daily.Just wish it wasn't so sweet, as she won't drink any other milk. Otherwise, great product my kiddo.

The only problem I have with this drink is that it's so sweet and yummy that my little one refuses to drink anything else. It got to a point where he would even refuse to eat and just wanted to drink this all day long. We started giving him this drink because he was a picky eater to begin with, and he got much worse in terms of variety of foods he would eat when he knew this drink was in the house. So we had to wean him off this drink for fear he would never try new foods again. This is not entirely the fault of the drink of course, but it was just counterproductive for us unfortunately because it's so sweet. It was absolutely great to have this with us on the go and to be able to give it to him when he skipped a meal because of his pickiness. In the short term it certainly helped with weight gain, but in the long term it seemed to make him even pickier.

Our two-year-old son was diagnosed "failure to thrive" at nine months old and shortly after diagnosed with eosiniphilic esophagitis. He has major allergies to egg, dairy, peanuts, several tree nuts and a mild wheat allergy. He was getting all these things through my milk and his body was unable to get nutrients from it. With the help of treatment, food avoidance, and Bright Beginnings as his major calorie source he has not only gained weight but grown substantially and is now "thriving."We live in a very small town where we have to travel nearly an hour to the nearest store that carries the Bright Beginnings drink. Last month I ordered it for the first time from this source and while paying only for normal postage had it delivered to my door the next day for the same cost as driving the distance to the store to buy it. I am thrilled to now have this easy method of ordering so I don't need to worry about running out anymore.
