Flat rather than round make them really sturdy.

What's not to like about these hooks,.....the price is superb, you get 10 hooks, and they're large enough to fit over any bar on my BBQ grill. I also use them on a recently bought stainless steel pot holder in my kitchen. If you have those new pot handles whose "fashionably designed" holes in the handles are either too small or, worse, have been machined perpendicular to the line of the handle, these large, long, and thin hooks work admirably. Even the designed hooks that came with my new hanging pot holder are unable to hold the new style handles. Forget about hanging the lids with the pots,.........unless you get thes stainless "S" hooks. I can hang ALL my pots + lids AND all my specialty cooking utensils. Also, I'm able to hang my hummingbird feeders over the wooden clothes bars that I've installed outside for hanging plants. These hooks prevent me from needing to drill for hooks, and ruining the wood surface. All in all, they have multiple uses (I'm still mulling over using them to hold large tools in the garage..........hmm)

These hooks are great. They are rust proof so I can hang my plants outside. They are also very strong. They compare to ones I had purchased from Ikea a while back. I ordered another set so I can hang the shower curtains.

These are essentially identical to the ones I have from Ikea, so glad I ordered them!

As a professional chef I bought these for my work kitchen and they are perfect for hanging my sauce pots, fry pans and fryer baskets. They are sturdy enough that I can hang them from the lip of my exhaust hood and also from the underside of wire metro style shelving. They are flattened which makes for easier cleaning. I am very pleased and will buy more as need them. I also didn't experience any sharpness on the ends as one reviewer commented - so maybe they just had a bad hook or two?

We needed some large S-hooks to hang things in our shower, and these fit the bill nicely. We also use them for other purposes around the house. Excellent value for the money.

I use these to hang pool goodies on the fence. I have noodles, goggles and a plastic tote bucket with various dive toys hanging on the fence near the deck. This allows easy access without going up and down from the deck. It also always the items to hang for proper drying.

Purchased these hooks to hold my collection of backpacks and hiking packs in my closet to keep them off the ground. These hooks fit easily over the existing closet rod and hold all of my packs well. These are not full packs - mostly empty, maybe with a few small things that tend to live in my hiking pack. Currently holds everything from a 20L to 60L (empty) pack with ease.
