Greenlee 1345 RJ50, 10P10C, 10 Pin 1300 Series Crimper

Best tool for RJ50 crimps! works with insulated and non-insulated connectors. Expensive tool, but perfectly made for the job. Stay away from the low-cost offshore tools, they will damage the connector. I researched these for some time, price is pretty much the same everywhere, the biggest issue is availability. Amazon was able to deliver!

Works great with Steward Connector 937-SP-3010R (10P10C, RJ-50) modular plugs for stranded wire. The RiteAV connectors did not appear to be of good quality. Look to digikey for them.

Very hard to find tool.These are very useful crimpers for 10P10C connectors.They worked flawlessly.The built is solid, the crimper did a great job and the price is good. Recommended.

I gave this product five stars because I know of no alternatives and it does a good job.What I like about it: Crimps RJ50 connectors. Appears to be made of high quality materials and (once I figured it out) the ratcheting mechanism works great. I think I had to unscrew and screw back in the ratchet tension adjustment screw before it would release the first time.What I didn't like: metal tooth that bites the connector into the cable sheath has some play and should be positioned correctly for use. Otherwise hot glue seals the cable in like a champ. Also, if not paying attention, the thumb screws eventually loosen and find their way into the hidden valley of mismatched screws. Farnell sells replacements, but best to keep them tight or loctite them.

Got these because I needed 10p10c for and RS-485 to Ethernet bridge.Worked great for making my own cables. Wouldn't want to make hundreds with this, but you could.Great deal with Prime shipping when I got it.
