Been making an outfit for weeks now; never had an issue with eyelets before. Had to cut them out of the fabric and remove shards of metal from my tool because they completely shredded! The barrels just split under pressure. Very unhappy as I have already spent weeks worth of time and money on making an outfit which now has a huge hole in the front.

I used this product to ease the running of laces through bare holes in my desert boots. They were the cheaper kind of boot so no eyelets. These 4mmGunmetal eyelets did the job to perfection, although quite hard to compress using my Velos eyletter.

They are a bit thin so best for lighter materials. Work ok with plastic sheeting and lower gauge tarps

Bought a decent pair of cycling shoes (£80) that didn’t have eyelets installed (except for 1 hole) got these to ensure I don’t tear through the material on my first lace up - started installing them at lunchtime using a 4mm eyelet plier (also bought off amazon) and they have worked perfectly - see images!

A very good product, that is easy to use, promptly sent and top marks alround.

These are perfect for what I wanted. I found it surprisingly difficult to find grommets with barrels long enough for what I wanted, which was for applying to christmas decorations made of plywood 3mm thick. These also look lovely. Recommended.

Bought for husband to put in lace holes in trainers as there were none and he ties laces tight. Ideal for that job.Very quick delivery too

I wanted eyelets which are 8mm deep, not 8 mm diameter. The advert really wasn't clear, to me at least :-(
