I liked the color and weight; if you like bows on the lighter side this is a good one to get. It feels nicely balanced and it gets a good sound from my violin! I'm very happy with my purchase. My gripe with this bow is that the hair it came with was slightly disheveled and I had to remove a few extra-long hairs, and I feel that the metal wiring near the frog is slightly cheaper compared to the rest of the bow.All in all, I recommend this bow if you A) want a good-quality, light bow that gets an intense sound out of your violin and B) the texture of the metal wiring of the pad won't affect your concentration.

Bought for my son who has played the violin for about 1.5 years. Great upgrade from his previous bow.

When my band first saw this the violinists made fun of it and couldn’t believe I got a black bow. The. The conductor played it and loved it and I played it and then they all wanted to play it. So I call this a win. I am recovering from pneumonia and just didn’t have energy to go to a violin shop and this was in my price range. It’s a beautiful bow. Make sure to get powdered rosin to get it going. It has been a joy to play. It runs so smoothly across the strings.

I've had quite a few bows, and so far this is the best one yet in its price range. it is well made, and makes my fiddle sound quite good!

The media could not be loaded.  This bow is such good quality for the price! It has coarser hair than other bows I've used, which makes it good for playing louder, upbeat and dramatic music. It's a lot of fun to play around with and I love it :)

This is a very good bow. It’s definitely a step above the fiddler man carbon. Really robust tone and Nice and responsive. I would definitely recommend this bow. Wish it was a little more reasonably priced though.
