Very nice quality construction which should equate to long term durability.
I bought these Kingston flash drives since they feature an aluminum housing which makes virtually impossible to break off the flash drive's USB connector. I used to buy the Sandisk Cruzer Facet flash drives for the same reason. The problem with the Facet flash drives is that people at the office would not return them to me since the Facet finish was so appealing. Kind of like a really nice looking pen. People pinch nice looking pens, and the same goes for the Facet. I figure that some of these Kingston DataTraveler flash drives will magically disappear as well. Yet the point is that I wanted more flash drives in which it was impossible to accidentally bend or break off the USB connector. My tests show that the maximum write speed is 4.63 MB/second versus approximately 5.9 MB/second for the Sandisk Cruzer Facet flash drives. I don't care that these Kingston flash drives are a bit slower than the Sandisk Facet flash drives, since my paramount concern is the reliability of the USB connector. I should mention that Kingston offers a similar yet faster flash drive which is faster and which has a USB3 connector. So in other words, I deliberately bought a somewhat older product version since the price was really good.

Great Thumb Drive Set
Just my opinion but I love these thumb drives. The metal housing seems more rugged and the large hole is handy and easy to attach labels, remove from usb slots or carry on a key ring. I would never carry a storage device like a thumb drive on my keys but that is just me. Plenty of storage at 16GB and typical usb 2.0 speed. Also reliable in my experience. I found the price to be a bargain and the lanyards are kinda cool. cheers

Good value for a lot of memory
I have been using these Kingston drives for a couple years now, and have yet had one that failed. Or was damaged. The steel casing is indestructible and the drives function perfectly.

Great value
Yes they are not USB 3.x. I did not buy them for speed. When I am training people, I used these to put the data on that I wanted to give them. I also wanted them to have a drive they could continue to use instead of getting dumped in a drawer never to bee seen again.16GB is a great sized for what I used them for and the value is unbeatable!

High quality large capacity USB drives reasonably priced.
Well made high capacity USB thumb drives. I use these to deliver large files of photographs to my clients. They're compact, sturdy (stand up to USPS), and have functioned well so far. My one complaint is the limitations to renaming the drive... I would like to use slightly longer names / serial numbers.
