Vicks Plant (Plectranthus tomentosa) is also known as Succulent Coleus or Cuban Oregano. It is a member of the mint family and has somewhat thin (but still succulent!) leaves. It's known for the minty, camphor fragrance of its leaves. "Tomentose" refers to the fuzzy, velvety coating that covers the whole plant. The undersides of the leaves are lined with raised veins and the edges are scalloped. It also produces large quantities of showy, lavender blooms. Vicks Plant is a soft succulent and needs protection from frost and heavy rains. Make sure it has well-draining pots and soil, lots of bright sun, and deep water (only when the soil is dry). It re-roots readily from stem cuttings (more info). Nervous at first
When I first received my order, it was late and they were simple cuttings in the bottom of a small box and amply covered with packing material. I had grown this type of oregano in the past. I placed some of them in water with rooting compound and others in moist potting soil. I am quite pleased to say that both groups are thriving. When a few of these have attained some size, I will give them as gifts. I love this oregano. It smells so good when the sun warms it up in the kitchen window.

They are healthy and strong. Easy to care. Very happy with the purchase! The photo (in the planter) shows how much they grow in less than one month. The photo (in the white box) shows new cuttings I cut from the rooted plant. They are ready for repotting. I didn’t expect I get so many plant babys in such a short time. I don't have green thumb and this little plant gave me confidence.

Let see if the oregano 🌿 growing like a plant
The are tiny branches look like they are not going any where.The leafs are so wrinkled. I’m very good with plant my hand love green. Also I’m veganI think the are very tiny. I’m going to giving a little time and a lot of love ❤️

Couldn't root
I saw a huge plant growing at a local hospital and wanted one for myself. I'm a decent green thumb, but couldn't get any of the starters to root. Followed the instructions in the package.The local hospital is going to give me a start off theirs.

They’re all healthy. I uploaded 2 pictures, one is when I just received them, and the other is a month later. The cuttings formed roots very fast.
