Be aware that this takes non-rechargeable batteries!
Unlike other Mighty Brights this only takes the disc type batteries (2) such as are used for remote controls. I don't expect a huge amount of life from them. The light is a good natural light for reading and not so bright that it tends to disturb your spouse when reading like many of the ultra bright bluish lights do. So it's a mixed bag. Very compact and a good private light but I regret not being able to use rechargeable batteries as I hate battery waste and cost.

Never disappoints!
I love this reading light. I have an old version that I have had for the last 13 years, still works great, holds battery for endless hours. I purchased two additional lights for other family members. The new version of the Original Mighty Bright is wonderful as well, much more compact and has a different attachment mechanism which works great as well. Built to last! Highly recommend!

I tried other brands, but I came back to the best!
I had a Mighty Bright for several years, and when it finally gave out, I bought another brand. Right out of the box it was a piece of garbage! It wouldn't even work. I had bought my Mighty Bright from my local department store, but they quit selling them, and I didn't think to check out Amazon for it. I finally checked it out and was amazed that not only was my favorite book light was available, but it was at an excellent price! I am happy again!

Where has this been all my life?
As a diehard reader, I have always been limited as to where I could actually do my perusing. I needed a chair near a light, or a good overhead light, and in our wood cabin, this isn't everywhere! But now with my Original Mighty Bright MiniFlex2 Book Light, I can read anywhere. The best part is reading in bed! I highly recommend this product and plan on giving them as gifts to all my book loving friends.

Great Gifts
Our older grandchildren loved these Mighty Bright MiniFlex2 Book Lights. They are perfect for reading in their beds right before sleep time - and they came in their favorite colors! Great quality for the price.
