Pioneer Platform with Stow It Utility Holders
No it’s not a 68 dollar shovel but it sits flush on the Pioneer Platform rack with the Stow It utility holders. My other spade shovels have too much of an angle on the head to do this. For recovery this shovel serves its purpose.

This is not a $64 shovel
Very disappointed about the quality of this item. I bought it to use on my Yakima Offgrid roof basket. I bought this particular shovel because it was all black (it’s in fact not all black but the shaft is a dark gray, also disappointing), appeared more weather resistant without any exposed wood to be left outside on the car, and seemed high quality. The big box stores have shovels anywhere from $15-$35, but I could not find one as nice as this one appeared. For $64 I would hope I would get a quality item.First order I received was the wrong shovel from Amazon Warehouse, second order I received the correct shovel in the photos shown. Handle is extremely cheap looking molded plastic, shaft is dark gray instead of black, and there’s a glaring wooden shaft at the back where the shaft meets the spade. Could this not have been at least painted black? And most importantly the powder coating was damaged in a corner, picture also taken. This tells me if I ever actually had to use the shovel (heaven forbid) I’d probably scratch it like crazy.I would expect this from a $20 shovel and would probably keep it if I had only spent that much. But as a $64 shovel, this is a joke. You’re simply paying for the Rhino Rack name.I am returning my shovel and purchasing one locally, possibly just painting the shaft myself to match the car. Look elsewhere for a quality shovel.
