The media could not be loaded.  I got a couple of colours but this shadow grey is by far the best looking and looks great on the unit. prefilter is easy to fit/reusable and easy to clean

Fits like a glove, right colour for our room and definitely works well as a pre filter, seeing how much of the dust/smoke that comes from our multifuel stove washes out. Washes easily too

Colour is nice, pastel. Personally prefer the original blue but nice alternative. Fits great, does the job too

After a couple of changes, these external pre-filters are very easy to install. You should have at least one in addition to the one that comes included with the unit. They filter out pet dander, etc. and prolong the life if tge main carbon filter inside the unit. To clean them, just throw them in with the regular laundry for a cold water wash. Many colors available to augment your decor.

Instead of cleaning the filter, these fabric screens take out the large dust particles and easily washed, easily changed out and filters last at least 6-12 months. Have used for nearly 2 years - great overall product.

This color looks way better in my room than the default blue. I wish they had more cover styles available in Canada for a decent price so I could change things up sometime. I don't want to buy the knock off ones because they tend to be lower quality, and this is foremost your first filter layer for the machine.

I have 2 of these purifiers on high at all times. I have 7 cats, so there's a lot of hair in my house as well as dust from the 6 cat litter pans and 1 Litter Robot. The filters for this purifier are awesome, but expensive. Yes, they last a while, but I have to change them more than the average person. We have 1 at work and I still haven't changed the filter on that one. It's been running on medium non-stop for about 8 months and still looks clean, whereas mine are filthy by month 4 (filled with dust).Anyway, these pre-filters have been great. They catch the majority of the cat hair and a lot of dust too. I throw them in the washer at least once a week. If it weren't for the pre-filter, I'd go broke buying main filters constantly. So I have 3 of these cloth pre-filters for each unit and change them weekly, sometimes more. They wash great and have been holding up well. They're easy to change. I like the pretty colors. I wish they'd make some more colors.I can't say enough good things about the purifiers. I have a lot of sinus issues and allergies, and my mom has the same problems with asthma on top of it. Before I got these, I had hives a lot and my mom used her inhaler most days. Since using these over a year now, it's changed our lives. I consider these an absolute need in our house. I don't ever want to live without them again.Thank you Blueair! It's so much easier to breathe, we can feel the difference in the air and our health has improved.

I have 3 different colors of this pre-filter dust cover; dk gray, turquoise and this very light color. These covers are durable (they’ve lasted years with regular laundering in the washing machine, air dry only!) and retain their elastic fit very well as long as you don’t throw them in the dryer. The only caveat is for the light color: unless you are disciplined enough to wash it on a set schedule, be forewarned that unlike the darker colors - you cannot see the dust accumulation as a visual signal. Other than that, it’s well worth buying.
