We needed a new clock radio for our boys room. The first one we tried was a Timex with only 4 buttons for 20 features. You couldn't program it without the instruction manual which was very difficult to interpret. And if the boys accidentally pushed the wrong button trying to turn on the radio, I needed to pull the manual back out in order to reset the time etc. That lasted all of 2 days before going back to the store and ordering this one. SOOO much better. Every function has it's own button and was very intuitive. I didn't need the manual to set it up at all. And because they can read these buttons, they aren't having as many issues trying to turn on the music. I don't understand why others think it's too bright though. We have the blue on the dim setting and it's perfectly fine for them. If you need black out conditions, that's not the fault of the alarm.

When I read the reviews on this item people would say how bright the blue light is even in the low setting. I decided to try it myself and they were right. All other clocks I bought in the past had the red light and I had no problem with it. Therefore, I would say the only reason I gave this a 3 star rating was the brightness of the blue light. I called Amazon and they refunded my purchase price and then ordered the red light version. It's due in today so I hope it works fine and believe it will. So if you are light sensitive then I would not recommend this color light for you. Maybe stick with red.

This FM clock radio is available in white or black and has a set of large LED letters that are easy to read even without your glasses. They also have an earphone jack and 2 built in USB charging ports. Several available settings and volume controls for alarm and includes an easy to find and use snooze function. You can set it to fall asleep to the radio using the programmable sleep timer (settings of 10-90 min). The radio sounds good for a very small radio and speaker. I like it and recommend you consider buying it if you need a good clock radio with lots of features.

I am thrilled with this purchase. It is smaller than the one that was on my nightstand and since that space is limited, I am delighted with the compact size. The last one I had was so bright (even on the "dim" setting) that it disturbed my rest. This display is bright if I want it to be but dims completely down for sleep. The controls are easy to figure out - even without reading the instructions - which is also a refreshing change from the previous clock radio I had. I had to just give up on that one and use my phone for an alarm. Not so with this little gem! The sound quality isn't great but that has more to do with my house than the radio because I've never gotten good reception for any radio I've ever had in this house. I would give this item 10 stars if I could!

I bought this clock because it has nice big numbers for a vision impaired sort like myself. Too bad it's designed for the hearing impaired too! The lowest volume setting is still surprisingly loud, but tolerable. So, when I set the alarm, I just made sure the volume was set at the lowest level. For whatever reason, the manufacturers designed it so that when the alarm goes off, it defaults to a MUCH louder volume than what you may have set it for. Not a nice way to wake up!

This alarm clock is way too easy to change the time between daylight saving time and regular time with the button being located right next to the snooze button! I have been late for work 3 times now because of this feature! Total waist of my money! Also it has a dimmer but all that does is change the glaring blue lite from lightning up your whole bedroom well enough to read by to one you have to be next to to read stuff. I seriously don't know how this product has gotten such good reviews.

I ordered this to replace another clock radio from Amazon that had a very poor sounding radio. Upon opening the box of this clock radio, I was surprised by the light, toy-like feel of this. But, I had hopes that since this is a "clock radio", that it would have at least a good radio. This clock radio was advertised as having " high performance" speakers, so you'd think the sound quality would be good. Turning on the radio, I was disappointed by the tinny, toy-like sound quality of the radio. The clock was easy to set and the unit looks good, but due to the cheap sounding speakers, I can't rate it very highly.

Nice clock, not too complicated like some clocks. The only thing that throws me off is the placement of the light to show PM time and the light to show the alarm is on; the light for the alarm is lit just below the PM letters which makes it confusing at first.
