Santic Cycling Shorts with Padded Women 5" Inseam Bike Short Cross Waist Athletic Underwear

I personally love these shorts. They fit great. They are super comfortable. I have three pairs of bontrager shorts, which are also nice, but they are a little stretched at this point(5 years into cycling). They are just expensive compared to these as well. I like the gel padding in these. Sizing is always a little weird. I am 5 ft and 110 lbs. Size small is perfect. I am fairly petite.

This was one of 2 different brands of padded gel bike shorts which I bought to try and I liked this pair much better and returned the others! Thank goodness for free Prime shipping and returns!I purchased these to alleviate some of the pain and soreness from adjusting to riding my new MYX Fitness bike. The gel padding is reasonable and not obtrusive. Additionally, the location and distribution (from front to back) of the padding is adequate to protect the areas where I personally was feeling the most discomfort. This will of course vary depending on your anatomy and circumstances.I am 5'3”, 133 lbs and have a curvy build; I’m between a size 4 and 6 and wear a 27 or 28 in jeans depending on brand. The medium shorts fit well overall; are reasonably attractive and the none of elastic is too snug or creates bulges. I’m working out exclusively at home due to COVID but I would be willing to wear these outside the house at a studio or gym. I would say they fit true to size but I would highly suggest sizing down if you are in between sizes. For example, I could feel if I lost a little weight the waist band would be starting to get loose. They should fit snugly in order for the padding to do its job.

Very happy with this purchase. I’m usually between a M and a L for shorts, I ordered a L. Probably would’ve been fine with a M.Pros:- very comfortable- don’t give me the sausage effect- the seams at the legs and around the waist are done nicely- the stitching is nice and flattering as it curves over the hip/legs (can’t tell from pictures)Cons:- the padding is not the greatest quality, a bit foamy, not dense, but definitely good enough for spin class and/or shorter rides (probably up to an hour or so).- the back part of the waist doesn’t go up as high as other brands. So when you’re bent over on the bike, you don’t have thats extra coverage, but nothing a jersey can’t help cover. They’re not “too low” but just don’t go up as high as other higher named brands do.- I tried them out for a 45min peloton ride and they seemed to have loosened up slightly. We’ll see how they look/feel after being washed.

Love these shorts! I'm a pretty avid cyclist, riding both road and MTB. I can wear out some gear so I hate spending money for a high price name brand just for the sake of the label. I read the reviews here and decided to go with the medium. I usually wear small in most clothing, I'm 5'4", 125, but tend to go for mediums when ordering cycling shorts since you never know what the fit will be without trying on. I don't care for shorts that compress too tightly on muscular thighs... Not a fan of the sausage leg look! I am very happy with these especially since I was looking for a wide leg band at the bottom to reduce the pinch that some shorts can put on your thighs. Probably could have gotten a small but I'll stick with the mediums, they feel and look good so I will definitely be ordering more. My only suggestion would be to add a larger variety of colors.

These shorts have been great for mountain biking! They stay in place very well, don't ride up, and the padding keeps me comfortable on the ride. They are low-profile so I can easily fit long pants over them for riding in cooler weather, which is a huge plus. I would say the only downside is that the sticky bit that keep the shorts from riding up can get a bit uncomfortable when you're not riding, so I definitely need a change of close if I am going from the trail to the store or a friends house or something like that. Great price point, too!

WOW! I dont usually write reviews, but had to take the time for these amazing shorts. I purchased a size M, and since seems true to fit, I am 5'6" and 140 lbs. Having worn the uber expensive cycling shorts, I was blown away by how well made these ones are for the price. The have a cross over V waist which makes for a very comfortable waist area, so no muffin top or bulging. Chammie is well sewn and no rubbing or chafing issues after over 100 miles of wear. Sticky pads on thighs prevents riding up, and feels very comfortable. I will be buying several more pairs, and would highly recommend these shorts.

The quality seems good. I ordered a XL because I don't like clothes that are tight. I am a 58 yr old female 5'9" and weigh about 160 lbs. The large would have probably been fine but I am ok with the XL. I would probably order one size up from what you normally wear. I sometimes buy mediums (and some times large). I am pretty sure that a medium would not work. I haven't ridden a bike in about 40 years. I recently retired and bought a bike for some different type of exercise. Although I bought a comfort bike, the seat was still not comfortable so I decided to buy a pair of bike shorts. These do help but I think I need something with either a thicker cushion or more coverage. I usually ride about 1 hr at a time. Much more would probably too uncomfortable. I don't regret buying these. The price was not bad and they do help. I may have to spring for some more expensive ones if I want more comfort.

Perfect fit! I'm 5"3 and 115 lbs. Love the length as well, not too long, not too short.
