American Crew Hair Recovery and Thickening Shampoo, 8.4 Ounce

Complete garbage. The order was for 2 bottles. There isnt enough in both bottles to fill one completely. Neither had a seal. I have been using Crew for over 8 years and this is not a crew product. It's someone else's shampoo poured into crew bottles. It's not even the same smell. One of the bottles is in a plastic bag because the top is cracked. Some of the fake shampoo is in the bag. And to top it off they changed their policy.....after I purchased the product to no returns! I will spend the extra few dollars and buy the legit stuff from the place I get my hair cut. What a waste of time and money. Please dont waste yours and please dont buy from this seller

This won’t regrow hair magically. It thickens it and brings back the quality of hair I feel like I had years ago before I started thinning. There’s a bit of a difference, in my opinion. My hair feels way cleaner and healthier from using this shampoo. I’ve ordered it 3 times now after seeing it in a salon and have been happy with it each time. The smell isn’t floral and not too medicinal smelling either. I would almost call it a neutral scent. But that’s not the reason behind this product. I switched off of this a few times to try out other brands. But this one has made the happiest with the results so here I am again.

I bought this for my husband because our neighbor kept showing up with fuller hair and my husband was envious. This has a nice smell and my husband seems to like it. I'm not convinced that it is making his hair "grow" or fill in spots that were sparse... I think all it really does is make the hair appear fuller. It makes him happy and he no longer feels like the neighbor has one up on him now so four stars it is!

This stuff works...period end of story!!!Noticed the fateful "ring of hair" in my tub after a shower about 6 months of ago...the girl who cuts my hair told me I just needed to strengthen my hair (she didn't notice any pattern of balding) so she suggested this product.After a couple of weeks...no more "ring"...seriously!!

This is my first experience with this shampoo. I can't speak to this version vs the 'original' that I've read existed before. My experience is fantastic. My hair is thinning in the front and my scalp is easily visible through my very thin almost wispy hair. After the first week of using this daily, my hair is thicker and my scalp is not visible at a quick glance. I notice no build up and I have no itching or dryness. I notice my hair feels more "substantial" as I brush it. My wife tells me the hair feels twice as thick as it did before using this shampoo.The smell is ok to me. I don't know how to describe it other than slight musk mixed with an almost ozone smell, like right before it rains.I use this in conjunction with American Crew gel, which is also a great product and I couldn't be happier. I used to use Paul Mitchel for men and while I do like the smell of that shampoo better, the AC gives FAR better results for me.

Amazing shampoo really helps revitalize the scalp. It was my favorite for years, but my scalp is allergic to it now, probably from other causes not the shampoo. Will cause a few inflamed follicles, but will use every so often and have no problem. Feels amazing

I'm not sure what I was expecting but so far this seems almost the same as the basic American Crew shampoo I always use. Smell is fine, hair is clean but I've yet to see any noticeable improvement to the hairline. I should probably add some version of Rogaine to the mix and allow this to be the supplement. We'll see.
