Sun Yin Full/Queen Burgundy 100% Cotton Blanket

While this blanket is lightweight, it is simply has way too much stretch... think the worst loose old sweater that just droops everywhere. This is straight out of the package.. It’s cotton, right? I immediately put it through the hottest wash and hottest dry cycle (no fabric softener) to try to tighten up the knit. Absolutely NO change. None. The thing swags under its own weight to hang out from under our comforter.

I realy don't like writing bad reviews and honestly, this is my first time. Before buying I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews about this blanket. For example, washing machine disasters about there beings holes everywhere and it just unraveling in spots. Or when washing, having a lot of the dye wash out. So like I said, I was hesitant. My blanket arrived pretty quick so that is going to be the one and only star I give. When I first saw the blanket it was the pretty burgundy color that was portrayed in the picture. Of course that has to do with lighting in the picture and what not, so I was kinda prepared. But when it arrived, it looked dull and was way darker than the pic. I was like.....okay. I could still work with this, not a deal breaker. But when I opened the blanket from the package it was in, there was a lot of unraveling already tacking place and I hadn't even really touched it yet! So, I'm returning it in hopes that the manufacturers help resolve this problem and so that future customers know what they are possibly instore for. This blanket was not for me.

OMG! Was this a cheap piece! I am sending it right back to Amazon. I am not often disappointed, but this blanket was a big one. It is so light weight that it couldn't keep a flea warm. It is also very cheaply made. This blanket is what "made in China " used to mean before we got used to seeing those words. Will find a better blanket somewhere

If you're looking for a lighter-weight (but heavier than a sheet) blanket with breath-ability but no gaping holes in the weave, this is a good blanket. The weave doesn't really look like a typical basket-weave, but it is a nice, light weave all the same.I haven't washed it yet, but right out of the package, it's a good weight, supple but a little stiff and substantial. I would recommend a different blanket (the one by Life by Cotton) if you want soft, warm, and pure cotton around this price point, but if you want a red blanket and one that is lighter than that, this is a good blanket.That being said, the red color isn't a berry like the picture shows but more of a burnt sienna. Thankfully, the one who picked this blanket out is still happy with it.

Love this blanket! So glad i chose this company and this blanket. Received it super fast. Washed in warm water, and dried it on low heat, it came out beautifully, checked my lint trap 2X, 1st time pretty full (no surprise), 2nd time very little...but felt i needed to check per other reviews. It fits my new king bed about 8" down on sides and didn't stretch out of shape. I love the weight of this, it is plenty warm. Last night it got down to 28 o and i could have just slept with sheets and blanket...i don't have heat on in my bedroom at night. I would buy this blanket in this size and in 3 more colors if it would be the same price. All other colors and sizes are more expensive? Same Company? Thank you sooo much!

I'm giving this blanket 4 stars because it's a very nice blanket, it just isn't the waffle texture I was expecting. I was hoping for that lightweight waffle, not extraordinarily soft, but just soft enough cotton texture where you cannot see through the threads. I'm not sure how to explain it. We had just been in one of our time share locations and fell in love with the waffle blankets they had. I was hoping to duplicate that at home. I really wouldn't even call this a waffle blanket just because the weave of the thread makes little squares.That said, this is a well made, very soft and warm 100% cotton blanket. It's definitely a nice blanket and worth the price if that's what you're looking for.For those that wish to know, it's made in China.Hope this is helpful.

These blankets are a little different every time you buy one. That said I have been very pleased with the quality. They are very light weight which I prefer since I can always add more covers when needed. ( Not too often when you live in the south!). I have cats so they sometimes make pulls in this open weave but I'm sure that wouldn't happen otherwise. If you are looking for a soft comfy light blanket I highly recommend this one. You can't beat it for the price.

The color and quality is very disappointing. It's a washed-out rust looking color. It's coming apart all over. It snags at the slightest touch. I wish I kept the bag of t came in so I can return it. Its harsh and course material and everything gets caught in my r and sticks to it, super hard to keep clean.

It’s light so it will be nice for the summer. We got the ivory one and it leaves white bits of fluff/lint everywhere. When I make the bed hundreds of white particles end up in the air. My room is now covered in cotton snow after having this blanket. It is going to be nice for hot summer nights, but be aware that the lint or whatever those pieces are will not stop. I’ve put the blanket in the dryer and had to clean the lint trap 4x because it was full. Crazy. I don’t know if all colours are like this, but I assume they are. If you don’t like sneezing every time you make the bed or roll over, don’t buy this. It’s very lightly though so if you can get past the particles, it’s gonna keep you cool in the summer

I was hesitant to get this item because the photos looked a bit odd. But the item looks nicer than the photos and the material feels really soft. Unlike some other cotton blankets we bought from Amazon, this one doesn't have any odur.

I love this blanket. The quality and weight is perfect. I folded in half and it's a little to warm for the summer but once i just had it as one layer it was perfect. It think you may have to be careful if you have pets that sleep with you as their nails may snag the threads. I recommend this blanket for the quality and price. I bought the King Size and it's a good fit.

Looks beautiful on my king bed... breathable which is what I was looking for to go on top of my duvet. Absolutely lovely!
