Good Design Concept- Poor Execution
This design looks good from afar, and the incorporated USB 3.0 ports are smart. However, it is flimsy & wobbly and feels cheaply made. The plastic top itself has what looks like wear marks, but I think those are just inherent in the actual materials. I struggled to make the legs fit and sit evenly in the slots when setting it up. I'm not sure if this is Satechi's original product, but it feels like a cheap knock off of something else. It could have been great, but it's not. I'm keeping it, because I need a riser today due to an injury, but If I wasn't desperate, I would return it.

Great stand and super easy to set up
I love it! This stand is really, really nice.It looks professional and space age sitting on my desk, and provides me the added space I need.It is all plastic, except for the leg extensions, so that may be a big deal to some people. The added USB hub is great and in the perfect location. All the ports work just fine, but I have not tested the audio config. They provide you a cable to connect it, which is a nice touch. It took just a couple minutes to get it all set up and working as I wanted it to.I definitely recommend this stand if you want something nice looking on your desk that also has some cool USB functionality.

I have sitting on my desk, a Satechi F3. It is the black/grey/silver version. I can confirm that shipping was quite fast, assembly was snappy, and the product works. I purchased this item to help more organize the little desk that we use at home. We have a Mac Mini, and an Asus VK278Q 27” monitor. The monitor itself weighs about 15 pounds. As you see in the provided photo, I have the Asus of to the left hand side of the Satechi. When placed i the middle, there is no deformation that I can notice in the plastic shelf. When I place some body-weight onto the unit, I do see deformation, but it will spring back once lifted. The four USB 3.0 ports in front work fabulously. I can charge my iPad Mini(retina) on it as it would if it were directly plugged into the computer. I do not use the headphone, of the microphone ports, as I do not use them period. They do plug into your computers ports, so they will disable the sound if you follow the instructions.I am pleased with the unit, but would love to see built in speakers, as that would be nifty.

You need this!
I have two computers in my office an all-in-one and laptop hooked up to a very large monitor. I have three portable drives. This stand allows me to hook all my accessories up to the the 4 - 3.0 USB ports and store my keyboard underneath. Easy to assemble, everything is very accessible and this product is nice looking and sturdy. Bought two. No power cord required and it also has plug ins for a microphone or headset. Great product.

Recommended by youtuber RandomFrankP - Ended up swapping and still dont use the USB cuz they are AWFULLLLLLLLLL
Recommended by youtuber RandomFrankPGreat buy, Very nice quality and fits my desk nicely. The USB ports charge a little slow being an unpowered hub but they work just fine for data.Edit 8/17/2018 - I had to swap this item out due to items not copying through the USB hub (Same cord works on my PC directly). You know maybe I got a bad unit. No this hub just sucks. Its basically just a monitor stand. Wont be listening to that you-tuber any time soon.

Great monitor stand poor USB 3.0 data transfer speeds.
I purchased this originally from Amazon for my LG 29UM57-P Monitor. I have since upgraded to the LG 34UM95-P and the stand is able to hold each monitor equally well. It does bow a tiny amount with the ridiculous 34" Monitor but not enough for me to consider another option. All cables that you could need were included with the monitor! The included rubber feet do their job and keep the stand from sliding around my desk. The main feature for me was the included USB 3.0 Hub. My monitor is connected to an XPS 13 laptop with only two USB 3.0's. The USB's are working fine for I/O devices but are poor for Data Transfer. Large files "ISO, Go Pro Video, Website Backups" take way too long when moving to or from an external HDD. This is the only reason for removing a star.I never cared about the Audio ports, I tested them and they worked fine but then I removed the cables and let my monitor take over.

Great stand to help organize the desk.
Great product. The only knock I have on it is that most computers these days ship with a single headset jack (some also include a mic, but it isn't necessary). If the included audio and mic ports had either adapters or a cable that could merge the two, I would have had to buy two adapters to make my setup complete. As far as its main function, it works great. Four usb ports right in front where I can get to them (an additional one in the back would make my keyboard setup much nicer too). Helps keep my desk well organized. I recommend this product for anyone that uses a laptop with external keyboard and monitor.

USB Ports are broken or cheaply made
The USB ports won’t stay active. They always disconnect my usb or external hard drive after 10 mins or so. It’s annoying seeing my usb pop up again as if it had just been connected since the USB ports are cheaply made or broken. If I was able to return this I would. I even changed the micro usb cable since I though maybe the one they supplied was cheap and doesn’t function properly. After buying a legitimate cable from cablematters still no success it continues to work improperly. Which tells me that the circuit for the USB ports is bad. I don’t recommend this at all as a usb hub as a monitor stand it’s just fine.

Unique USB hub that frees-up desk space
The Satechi monitor stand is something I accidentally stumbled upon whilst looking for USB 3.0 hubs on Amazon. It immediately caught my eye and didn't take long for me to order one. Essentially, this is one large USB hub, upon which you can place your computer screen. It features four USB 3.0 ports (be careful not to order the previous model which is USB 2.0), as well as outputs for a headphone jack and mic.Build quality is between average-good; I'd probably say 3/5. The top is made entirely from plastic and only the legs are made from aluminium. It was a little fiddly to get an even height, but all was well once I got it balanced. The USB 3.0 hub works very well, and I have not noticed any issues. Upload and download speeds are good, and they also recognise my iPhone through them on my computer (with a lightening cable). I have connected this to my 12" MacBook (2015), and it works fine with this (using a USB-C converter).I personally am not using this to place my monitor on, and am using it simply as a USB hub extension, and a place where I can connect hard drives and keep the clutter-free in the space provided below. It also allows me to put other objects on top, so pretty much gives me a little more valuable space on my desk. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend this if you need to raise your computer, need a little more workspace and need a few extra USB ports.

Winner at a lot of thing but not an aesthetic champion
Ill be honest in that I was somewhat expecting this to be full metal, probably based on the skim over read where I saw 'Aluminium'. This however, only relates to the legs, which have a gritted shine - Not really my cup of tea. That said, for its purpose, its a great piece of kit. Having the advantage of extra connectivity is a real bonus and the the ability to stow clutter atop and underneath is exactly what I was after! Most people and as advertised have the USB connections facing towards the user, and I suppose the design aesthetics of the stand are more suited from this angle, however, I prefer to reduce the visible wiring in view, so have opted to rotate the stand in the opposite direction. This doesn't affect its operation beyond having to plug stuff in before use or face hassle plugging in after. The space below is substantial. Enough for my bulky laptop, laptop cooler (not pictured) and keyboard on top, thus giving me excellent workspace when the computer isnt in use.My only gripe beyond looks is that the legs can't be lowered.Pros--------Great Space SaverLarge enough to accommodate 34" Screen (and weight)Superb ConnectivityCons--------Looks and MaterialNo Height AdjustmentCostSatechi, also make a very sleek low profile full metal alternative (also reviewed) which i like a lot more, but as its significantly smaller it cannot accommodate device stowage and its width was not great enough to support my monitor.

Great quality stand - shame about duff cable!
Great looking stand - my 32" Acer Predator monitor with ease. Great having audio jacks and USB ports at the front. My only gripe is that the USB ports didn't work!! Turns out the cable supplied was faulty. Far too much hassle to return whole product to replace a cable. Bit the bullet and just bought my own at my cost. Now works great!

Smart and Practical...
Very smart looking piece of office accessory, holds my Lenovo 21" wide PC no problem. With space underneath for the external drive and external DVD recorder. With 4 USB ports have ample connections for almost anything. It could be turned around with the ports at the back I suppose, but obviously at the front easier to see what is plugged in and to remove without having to move the PC every time, seems logical - great value

Looks can be deceiving
With the price compared to others I assumed it would feel and look more premium, however the whole body is cheap plastic that bows under my monitor, the included leads are old off-white colour, the legs are metal however very light and I don't expect them to last very long
