These were bought for the Teachers during a Christmas PTA cookie offering. The teachers were allowed to fill up these food trays with home made cookies from the parents of the school. They were perfect. The lid crimps and stays in place and their is no mess. I am not sure how it would do with wet food. I would not hesitate to use with say foods like Spagetti but foods like corn or green beans that are wet might not do as well but then again I am not sure because I have never done it.
