Seems fine and a reasonable price.
This laptop seems fine for my purposes, email, internet, MS office. Not interested in gaming or it’s lack of touch screen.

Excellent value, very friendly to use, all I could ask.
Excellent value, a pleasure to use. Screen very sensitive and takes a bit of getting used to but fine after a couple of weeks. Everything I could have wanted from a laptop.

avoid lenovo
worked fine for a year and a half, other than annoying touchpad it was okay. then the troubles started to come. the screen just has given up without impact. then the entire machine gave no response anymore. customer service was a never ending pain. they have dropped the line numerous times when the tough questions were coming up. my IT friend says since Lenovo was acquired by the Chinese owner the quality and honestly has dropped badly. Lenovo used to be good product but not anymore. avoid lenovo, period.

Lenovo
The Laptop arrived on time, Set it up to my requirements. Easy to us, That's the good bit. Now the not so good...For information, it looks like the Technical Details list is wrong:This laptop only has 2 USB ports, I think they are USB 3.0There are no USB 2.0 ports.Disappointing as 5 USB slots would have been good! The Optical Drive is a RW not a RDid think about sending back, but have decided to keep. Hope the supplier takes note and changes the specs.Otherwise it is a good machine, The SSD makes it super fast.

Happy Customer
So happy with this laptop. I was nervous about choosing because I don’t know much about laptops. It has added a great deal of ease to my life.

Disappointing
Just over a year and half on I have to say that my overall impression of this machine is disappointed. When looking for a laptop for my wife, one of the essential ingredients was a DVD Writer. There's not a lot of choice out there for laptops fitted with these. But this one ticked the box. I never really wanted a Lenovo in spite of them taking over the IBM laptop technology, and given the experience I have had with this one, I won't be buying another.Yes, it does what any average laptop is required to do, and some might say that's all that matters. But there is more. A few months following purchase the power cable became awkward to plug in. We discovered a screw had fallen out of that corner, underneath and so every time we tried to push in the plug, the bottom corner of base cover opened slightly. We didn't want to send it back just for that, so I re-positioned another screw that didn't affect any sockets.More recently, the DVD disappeared from the system! Not showing in File Explorer or Device Manager. Electrically it was connected because it opened and closed and made noises when we put in a DVD. But it would not play. To cut a long story short, I went down the road and back again several times wrestling with this one and as of time of writing, still haven't solved the issue. Lenovo Live Chat support was useless. On closer inspection the screw holding the DVD player in place was missing as was another screw next to it. This really is shoddy I thought. I and my wife have had several laptops over the decades and never had a problem like this.Performance is average but the worst thing about it is the display. Colours are appalling. Unreal and dull. And you have to be looking directly at the screen to get best view which is sadly lacking. Look even slightly from the side and it inverts and ghosts. Useless. I will be replacing this much sooner than usual. Probably return to HP which I should have stuck to in the first place.

Very dissapointed
I have had a Lenovo laptop for a number of years and I have been extremely pleased with it but as it got older I decided to buy a new one but what a disappointment. This laptop froze constantly the touch pad was awful it was far too sensitive even on the lowest sensitivity settings. After my experience with this particular laptop I would not buy another Lenovo.
