Dermarest Eczema Medicated Lotion | Dermatologist Tested | 4 FL OZ (3 Pack)

There is a member in my family who has been suffering from eczema on the palms of his hands since I could remember. It would never get any better, no matter what the dermatologists tried... Until I found this at a CVS one day and it was on clearance for some reason. I saw it was for eczema, and I have eczema as well (and so does my son), so naturally, we cleared the shelf. We used the bottles up for ourselves here, and it cleared up my son's eczema. It started to clear mine up. I gave a bottle to my family member and encouraged them to keep using it. The eczema on their hands was thick and I didn't know if it was going to work. After about a month of using it, those hands were the smoothest I'd ever seen them. They weren't built up with eczema anymore. You could hardly tell there was anything even there. I bought this three pack for them, and they haven't used anything else since then. It really does work... At least for us it did, so give it a try and it might work for you too! ^-^

I’ve had really bad eczema all my life. My skin would be super cracked / scale-like or red and raw. I’m currently 22 years old and I discovered this product about 3 years ago. Since then, I have never needed to look for any other product. I have never seen my skin clear up this much with any other product and I’m finally confident to walk around with a tank top on and not have to feel so subconscious about my skin. This one does wonders! It’s not a heavy type of lotion and my skin doesn’t feel like it needs to be moisturized an hour after applying like other brands I’ve previously tried. The fact that this is a 3 pack for under 20$ is fantastic and I will be ordering this again in the future when I begin to run low.

I have two complaints with the product which I received.The first is that the active ingredient in what I received is Pramoxine Hydrochloride (1% topical analgesic). The active ingredient in the product I have been using is Hydrocortisone 1%. Haven't used this new formulation long enough to determine if it works satisfactorily, compared to the Hydrocortisone formulation. Only time will tell if this formulation works as well as the old one.The second complaint I have is with the packaging. All that I have used in the past has come in a plastic twist-top bottles about 6" tall, similar to a glue bottle (think Elmer's brand). This current product is in a flip-top plastic tube instead of the bottle. I much prefer the twist-top bottle.

This lotion is a Godsend for me. I wish that i didn't need to use anything with a steroid in it (regardless of how mild), but since i have crazy, sensitive skin, this lotion works wonders for me. If i use it for a few days, i won't need it again for a while. One of the best things about it is the moisturizing effect that I've never found in these types of lotions and creams before. I've been using this lotion for a few years now

dermarest is awesome and only thing that has worked for my son's eczema... other lotions just coat surface of skin but dermarest heals the skin !!Just a little warning - if skin is open/inflamed, this will sting a little so apply small doses at a time .... BUT I stand behind this product because of the healing qualities and steroid free !!! Regular use of once/twice weekly during winter has really helped in preventing inflammation.

This lotion was great for me. I have suffered from eczema since I was a child and only prescription medicine worked. Elidel was the latest that I used that was not OTC but due to the cost I had to find something that was effective, but feasible. This works great in preventing and healing dry cracked/snake like skin. However, I have stopped using products with hydro cortisone as it is a mild steroid. Steroids use overtime can cause thinning of the skin and more damage when used around the eyes. I am in the process of finding another product that does not have long term effects as I will always have eczema. I do recommend this for short term use. I did use this product for almost 5 years.
