This is Amazon! Prime nonetheless. Mine came with a plastic back, and I returned it as well. You have nothing to worry about. That is why 99% of my purchases are through Amazon Prime. Go to your section where you can see your orders and click on the product in question. There you will see the option to "return or replace items" they have several options, and you choose the most convenient way for you to return the item. Most convenient, in my opinion, is taking it to Kohls and they do all the packaging and everything. Gotta love Amazon!

This case will not affect the use of fingerprint sensor of your phone.
