I like how it came with a cartridge and a small converter to refill with your own ink. You get what you pay for, so don't expect a sturdy pen because this is made out of plastic parts. The nib writes well and the blue ink is fantastic. The pen looks very nice, and it's an excellent pen for new fountain pen writers.

The cap will not stay on!!!! It is so hard to write with (to get ink flowing). I have been purchasing several different kinds of Parker pens and have been let down. When I first got it, I loved it. It wrote perfectly but then the cap wouldn't stay on so I will only be using it at work so it doesn't bleed through my travel luggage/laptop/purse.

Just received and IT DOES not write probably a defect...we tried and tried. SUCH A WASTE of MONEY

Bought it for nostalgic reasons, but thought me a lesson. The pen is uncomfortably short on its own; however, the cap does not stays safely on on the back end.This makes writing somewhat shaky. If stored on its tail end it dries out in a day; however, if stored on cap end, it dries out in a weekend. When dry it is useless and it takes forever to make it work. I am happy not to use a pen like this any longer.

I wanted a good, relatively cheap fountain pen that would not be devastating if I left it somewhere. this one is generally a good value for price. Hard to get the ink flowing initially. Would buy again.

I love Parker and have been using the brand for a long time. They write well and fit comfortably in your hand.

Writes really nice all the time, I never wonder if it will write no matter how long it has sat.
