DC Kids' Pure V Toddler

My 4yr old has a high arch and I have only ever been able to fit his chunky little foot into velcro shoes. I found early on that DC more than delivers on the perfect shoe for him. He says they are his "comfy shoes" and they are easy for him to get on and off.Granted he is a boy who can beat up a new pair of shoes in no time but my complaint with these is that they have no grip on the bottom and he does tend to slide more easily in these. Also, they tend to wear (in my opinion) fairly quickly on the bottoms. The soles get worn out and the rubber peels. At that point I turn them into outside play shoes. Overall I am happy with these especially considering the great price you can get on a pair and I would recommend these to others :)

I love these shoes for my toddler. He gets compliments on them all the time. They do run a bit big, and they are a skate shoe, so they are going to be wider. That is part of the reason why we ordered these, my son has a pretty wide foot and other shoes were uncomfortable for him. They are super easy for him to put on by himself, which is awesome, since he's becoming very independent and wants to be able to do things for himself. We initially ordered these in a size 10, as my son's old size 9 shoes were getting to be a bit too small. The 10s were huge. Since they were on sale, we decided to just order another pair a size smaller and keep the size 10s for when he grows out of the other ones. He's worn these daily for the last 5/6 months and have very little wear on them. The velcro is still strong. We will definitely order more dc shoes for him in the future.

I gave these shoes 5 stars because they were shipped on time, they are made great, & they look exactly as pictured.I was disappointed with the sizing! My son is currently in a 7 & I wanted to buy a size larger for this winter. I went ahead & got the 7 thinking they would be larger because all of the reviews that said these shoes ran on the bigger side. They do NOT. They fit the exact same as his Nike 7C shoes do which means his toes are nearing the edge of them being too small. My son was too excited when these shoes arrived & instantly ran outside with them on so I couldn't exchange them for a larger pair. I still give these shoes 5 stars because sizing is not the sellers fault especially when they are true to size! Wish I would have went with the size bigger instead of reading the reviews.

I've been buying DC shoes for my toddler for the last couple years. This pair wasn't as great as the others. The shoe is still in great shape after 4 months of use, but the Velcro no longer sticks. It's a large piece of Velcro so once it comes loose or undone the foot slips right out. He has to wear socks and shoes while at daycare and they were coming off his feet every 5 minutes. I liked (and so did my son) that he was able to be independent with these shoes, putting them on and taking them off, but we are going to have to go back to shoes that don't rely completely on Velcro for security.

For my son, I bought several pairs of these shoes in different colors. I like the design and fit. My son finds it easy for him to put these on because velcro makes it easy. It also opens up wide enough for him to put his feet without extra help. However, after some time, the velcro gets looser and looser, and because of that, shoes starts to come off. It can be dangerous when he is active. I had to throw away a couple of pairs because of that reason. Both times, the shoes are in fine shape except the velcro. If velcro can last longer, it would make an excellent pair of shoes for little ones.

These are great shoes for our son who is three. He has a tough time getting other shoes on and off by himself, and these he can easily slip on and attach the velcro independently. It makes life so much easier. They are really cute with his jeans and shorts, and seem to hold up through bike rides and playing outside. They do run a little bigger than I expected. I had to order another pair in a size smaller, but I love them so much that I am excited to have them in the next size up!

these go on so easily, even when our little bugger is a screaming and a squirming. The quality is as good as you should expect and d trust from DC, a renowned skate shoe company. These were put to the test the first day with lots of mud and puddles, and the cleaned up easily in the sink and look like new again. The velcro closure is secure, and the wide tongue makes it so easy to put these on. We will probably get these again when he grows out of them, or loses them :)

A comfortable shoe for my 2 year old, who is picky about shoes. He can put them on and off himself, and the Velcro on the top provides some flexibility in fit. (His feet are a bit small still for these shoes, but we just pull the Velcro tight. No 'bumps' on the bottom of the shoe, if your child is the kind that doesn't like texture on the bottom of the shoe.
