I just love this book!! It has some of the best of costuming articles from when Jareeda was a magazine publication. There are great articles on every kind of costuming for Middle Eastern dancing. I really enjoyed the article on the worlds oldest safety pin being a connoisseur of safety pins myself. There are articles on how to build a costume from the ground up, how to alter costuming pieces, costuming for all different dancers, and a great article by Shira on internet sites that have patterns or how to advice on making your own costumes. You can read on how to get inspired to make a theme costume for a fun dance or you can get good information on what kind of costuming you should wear for that folkloric dance you want to do. This book has it all and I can not wait for the next Jareeda Jewels!!

Great book with really good costuming advice, plus some interesting articles on how to make costumes.
