Top price/performance ratio
I was shopping around for some kind of well crafted general purpose outdoor knife and really went down a rabbit hole trying to find the best value for the money. It seemed hard to find an American made thick spined steel knife with a good grip construction. I must have looked at 20 different knives before I found the SP-1. It seemed to have the features of a $60+ knife for half the price. Definitely wasn't too good to be true, it is exactly what I was hoping for. Feels like you could chop down an oak tree with this thing without hurting your palm, with a cost that competes with low end imports. The finish is not perfect, but I wasn't expecting it to be at this price. They cut no corners where it counts, it's solid, tight, and feels like you couldn't break if it you tried.

I’ve been buying Ontario knives for many years and I’ve never been disappointed.Great knife maker great customer serviceThis all started with finding a USAF survival knife .I personally know that they are still used in the USAF survival school and we’re a favorite amongst special forces and special operations.This baby came sharp no scratches warps and I like the new packaging .You won’t be let down :)
