Star Trek Oberth Class Replica Ship by Eaglemoss Hero Collector This ship class was first seen in the film, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock as the USS Grissom. The Grissom carried Lt. Saavik and David Marcus to the Genesis Planet to investigate lifeform readings coming from the planet. While they are on the planet, the USS Grissom is destroyed by a "lucky shot" from the gunner aboard a Klingon Bird of Prey. The Klingon ship is commanded by Commander Kruge, played by Christopher Lloyd also known for him portrayal of Doc Brown from the Back to the Future movies.

Very Good Model... But Not Great
The Eaglemoss Oberth class USS Grissom is a sturdy model and surprisingly large (compared to their other starship models) which is ironic considering the Grissom is one of the smallest Federation starships represented in the collection. It does have flaws. The shuttlebay doors are too small and the paint job for the windows are misaligned. If you can tolerate that then I highly recommend this model. While the Oberth class has many detractors I've never been one of them. I like the unique design and its always been one of my favorites.

Very nicely detailed model
A really nice rendition of a more obscure Star Trek ship with a high level of detail. Mine has a slightly off kilter 'warp nacelle' on one side, would otherwise give this a 5 star rating. But still well worth the $$ is you are a fan of the USS Cannon Fodder.

USS Grissom
The Oberth Class model is bigger than most models from the collection even though the Oberth Class is one of the smallest federation starships. But that is not a problem at all! This is another very well detailed model. Very happy to add the USS Grissom to my collection!

The Federation's '91 Honda Accord
Lovely detail, Eaglemoss definitely have this one their TLC! A bit difficult to get a hold of, but worth it.

Very poor quality control
Very poor quality control. This arrived with the nacelles not glued onto the model and falling off, and there is a section on the bottom where a painted gray oval is blatantly misaligned with the mold.
