We have an awful desk chair in our home office. (We didn't buy it ourselves, got it from an office that closed down.) It's made with rattan wrapped around metal bars, but when you sit, you can feel those bars digging into you. So at first we had a regular seat cushion, like you would use for a dining room chair. But after a while, that cushion got so flat that the chair became uncomfortable again. So I got this one. This pillow is amazing. The padding is stiff, which I was worried about, but it completely cushions us from the feel of the bars in the chair. Between my husband and me, we spend a few hours a day using this chair at our computer. My kids don't like this pillow, but that's actually an advantage since they're not supposed to be here using our computer anyway.

I bought another brand of this type of seat cushion and returned it. It was too soft and seemed cheap. What I LOVE about this one:1. soft cover2. pretty color of the cover3. It is obviously real memory foam! High qualityThey say they are made in America too.I can use it on my sofa even when I am in a lot of pain. If I could make one thing different? I'd make a larger version. To fit my whole chair seat fully. I wish they made a flat cushion too. I think Amazon promotes the brands that are not as good as this.

Have a thrift store "executive" desk chair where the seat padding long since gave up, so you can kind of feel metal in the seat. I used a goose down throw pillow but that would flatten and be a hard sit. So pretty happy with this cushion which for me is the right kind of firm but soft, and doesn't seem to flatten. Seems well made.Happy enough to order a second, but really, IMO, for my rear end and the chairs I want to use it on, it needs to be 1/4 to 1/3 bigger. Still, it was a good purchase for me, esp. since the first gel "comfort pillow" I ever had from CVS was rock hard and the gel leaked - this is 1,000x better.

I'd been using the cushion from one of my dinning chairs. Every day after a couple of hours of sitting, my butt started to hurt, by the end of the day, my back hurt. Finally I decided to get a better cushion. This one is comfortable and I have no more back pain at the end of the day. I see people complained about the size, I don't see the problem. It's the same size as the chair cushions I bought in a regular store. And it fits a regular size computer chair. I recommend it!!!

I have tried both this and the $30+ "Amazon Choice" Brands, and I honestly think both the customer service and product quality of this item is much better.Yes it is a bit more on the firm side, so if you prefer a softer cushion, this is not for you. For the record I am only 105lbs so I don't find that I dent the cushion very much, and I like the firm support and the added height.

I've had this cushion for over 3 weeks. Let me say that the manufacturer makes a quality product. It says it's American built so I think it will last a long time. I have to wonder at that... because it's so small. I don't think it was built by a woman. I am a woman and due to the fact that I have severe sciatica I am not able to move around a lot and have gained a bunch of weight. I have a wide bottom. This cushion is not made for wide bottoms and is hard as a board! Really! However, when you sit on it & get it in the right spot it does help to relieve the pain. I am also required to sit in 1 position all day long for dialysis and sitting on something hard, hurts! It says it is made of memory foam but it isn't very foamy. I will not buy again. To the manufacturers, I say, "make it a bit softer & wider, not for small airplane seats". I have been trying to decide whether to return it. I think I will keep it. Expensive lesson. My grandfather in-law recently had both legs amputated, leaving him using a wheelchair, that he could only sit in a few minutes until he started to complain about his bottom and legs starting to hurt. I received this in the mail just before taking him out for dinner. He was able to sit for hours without complaints. I will definitely be buying a couple more. This is the only thing that has gave him that much comfort.

I have to admit, I was not expecting to love this cushion so much. It is so comfortable, and my lower back pain from sitting in my office chair disappeared in the first day of use! I love it so much, I just ordered another one for my car. I'm going to try it out at my sons football game this weekend, I'll update my review as I use it. Highly recommend!
