Seems well built and sturdy.
Long ago I got tired of replacing the plastic reels every year or two and moved to metal. The shortcommings of metal reels are they are too light, rust out or the rotating seal fails. I've had this one a few months now and it's holding up well and seems like it will last. Have about 175' of heavy hose on it and it is stable reeling in and pulling out. Did not like the light grey color so I painted it burnt bronze before assembly. It replaces a lightweight decorative metal one that fell apart in a year. Hopefully it will live up to its expensive price.

Well designed and built.
This is my second Strongway hose cart. I’m attracted by high 5/8” hose capacity, solid rubber tires and ease of use. Fairly ease to assemble, but instructions somewhat basic. However, various bolt/screw types well labeled on instructions.

I'm going to start with the bad. Multiple items damaged in box
I'm going to start with the bad. Multiple items damaged in box. One tire not like the other. Center drum missing. One part from something entirely different. Instructions terrible. So why 4 stars? I contacted mfg and even though they say M-F they were replying over the weekend. Picked up damaged item and shipped replacement. Assembly went well but did have to take time. Great customer service although I never like getting replies from different people each time.Based on other reviews, and Northern Tools comment from Apr, this cart has gone through some updates. The bolts are very similar in sizes and can lead to having to remove and switch. I added lock washers to the screws holding the drum. Likely will add washer to axels as wheels a little wobbly. What I would change, instructions definitely need updating and clarifying. I haven’t had long enough to see if fasteners rust but with other comments about stripping and I was able to get tight without issue so suspect they were also updated. Add lock washers for drum screws. Add washers for axels. Change soft foam on handle for something like bicycle handlebar tape as I think the foam won’t last that long in the AZ sun.

Good
Great product yet whoever drilled the holes was very bad at their job. The holes didn’t align and were not finished properly leaving sharp jagged exit holes from the drill you can easily cut yourself on.

+Poor instructions
Had some added parts that weren't even listed. Bolts meant to secure halves of the frame weren't long enough.

Quality control?
I am SO tired of getting things to put together which do not go together according to the directions: The assembly directions are straightforward: "Step 1: Place Frame (A1) into Frame (A2), insert Bolt (6) and place flat washer (12) onto Bolt. Fasten Frame using lock nut (11)." What is not said is that because "Bolt 6" is so short (barely protruding through the opposite hole), you will need to squeeze "Frame A1" together somehow. OK - I can do that. I got my trusty vice grips, squeezed "Frame A1" slightly and just got "flat washer 12" on to "Bolt 6," followed by "locking nut 11." So far so good - I guess - but what if I had no vice grips? So my next task, before moving on to Step 2, was to tighten lock nut 11 on to Bolt 6. Got my trusty socket wrench set and began. One quarter of a turn into the tightening process Bolt 6 strips and lock nut 11 tumbles out of my socket wrench onto the floor.Of course at this point I do have several options. I could search through my bolt inventory (not very complete, but perhaps I can come up with something); I could hop in my car and trundle to Home Depot and get a new bolt; I could call Northern Tool and ask for a new Bolt; I could return the item to Amazon. I opted for the latter - who knows what other poor-quality-controll adventures might await me as I proceeded through the remaining 10 assembly steps.

HUGE!
very well built with high quality critical components. Love the spongy no-flat tires and holds TONS of hose.

YES - THE DREAM CAME TRUE.
This is the Hose Cart of my dreams. I can not believe I spent the $20.00 at Home Depot on their plastic junk cart. Although it did last more than 12 years, and I did give it away working, I did however try to sell them on this new hose cart. So easy to move, wind up hose neatly, quickly, and easy. It was the dream to just pull and walk off with the hose - only - and not the whole cart. Wow... just buy it, and you will love it too!
