Russell Hobbs 21305 Emma Bridgewater Toaster, Polka Dot 4 Slice Toaster, 2400 W

This is a fab asset to my country cottage, it does what it says on the tin. Well made, easy to follow instructions, and complements my Emma Bridgewater Kettle. I also learnt an interesting fact from the instructions that when we toast bread this is known as the ' Maillard Reaction' in essence a chemical reaction takes place between the bread and the controlled heat of the toaster. You can tell we are in Lockdown when I actually read the instructions from page to page to extract a new fact!!

Although quite chunky compared to my last toaster I'm sure I will get used to it as it is so pretty. Lovely cheerful fun design to brighten my mornings. Background colour is a proper cream and not the very pale almost white colour. Bought it whilst on offer otherwise would have been quite expensive but hoping my family will buy me the matching kettle. Some matching tea clothes would be wonderful too designers!!!

The toaster does its job perfectly. If the toast is a bit too underdone for your liking you just need to press the bottom button to zap it for a little while longer. The timers are accurate. Two crumb trays which are easy to remove, clean and replace. We use it every day and are very pleased with it.

For a 4 slice toaster it doesn't take up too much room and it looks nice out on display which is important for us as we don't have the cupboard space to put it away.It toasts a little unevenly for the first slice(s), but once it is warm it toasts really consistently.

I love the Polka Dot toaster - a great ddition to my collection. It's so much quicker than my last toaster and toasts nice and evenly! Great buy.

A 4 slice toaster that makes all the difference. !I will always recommend this, the toast is perfect and it just pops up !

Bought the Kettle and Toaster and was so happy with how lovely it looked, sadly that’s as far as I’m prepared to go on compliments. I’ve had 2 of these toasters now and both are appalling.Neither of them toasted evenly. Each of the 4 slots toast differently, some burn one side and don’t toast the others, some toast the bottom and not the top. I thought I had a ‘duff’ one but when the replacement item did the same I realised it was was Just poor quality.For the money I was absolutely appalled, I don’t usually choose style over substance but I liked the design and thought as it was Russell Hobbs it would be good, how wrong was I.I previously had a cheap £20 Asda toaster and it was far superior to this. I’ll be heading back to Asda.Kettle was good however and cannot fault Amazon, they was fab taking the rubbish back.Don’t waste your time or money on this Toaster.Just not worth it
