Very nice. Adjustable heat range makes it great. Tested on shrink tubing on fly line with no damage to fly line on low temp. Going to test on pvc tubing next.Be sure to read instructions for turning on and off. Hot tip takes awhile to cool down.

Heat guns are actually genius, and I don't know what I've been doing without one. Whether I'm moving vinyl, removing shipping labels from boxes for reuse, heat shrink soldering, and heating up aluminum pieces for bearing removal or seized hardware. It's intense heat without an open flame, that already allows you to do so many things without dying

There is not much to say about a heat gun. It heats. It heats up really fast and I have left it on for hours at a time with no problems whatsoever. The only complaint I have is the power cord. The cord is very stiff and if not just right the heat gun will fall over. Upgrade the cord to higher quality rubber sheathing or maybe even a fabric like casing. But all in all it’s a good addition to the toolbox. Prob have about 50 hours runtime no problems.
