Works as well as the original.

Replacing Panasonic original. All buttons good, except for main "wheel" where the feel of it is totally different from the original and is a lot less tactile. Needs to be depressed much further than the original to make it work. Not a big issue, but just a little annoying!

Replaced broken remote all functions work ok

Very simple to put in batteries and away you go. However, volume control would not work with my particular TV and after a couple of months the whole thing stopped working. It just brought up an no entry sign on the TV and told me it was an invalid operation at this time (or something similar). After taking the batteries out, to test, and leaving them out overnight, I put them back in the following day and the remote starting working again. All rather frustrating. I had a remote of this type previously that stopped working - just by certain functions refusing to work rather than everything - but that had lasted a couple of years or so.

Item was of inferior quality, the main issue being that the buttons were sticking when pressed, and remained in the 'depressed' position. Also, although the remote is for the HDD/DVD recorder/player you are supposed to be able to configure the remote so that you can adjust the volume of your TV, by entering your TV manufacturer's code, as we had done previously with our original Panasonic remote. We attempted to do this and entered all the codes suggested by Panasonic for our Samsung TV, but none of them worked on this remote. We sent the item back and received a refund very quickly from Amazon. We have since ordered a new remote direct from Panasonic and the buttons are fine, and we were able to configure it to change the volume on our TV with no problem. Very pleased, however, with the way the return and refund were handled by Amazon.

Old Panasonic Blu Ray ,recorder remote was playing up from dirt and years of use. Attempted to remove the hard plastic cover to clean myself, ended up with cut bleeding finger from trying to prise open! Sent for this replacement and it does the job. The only difference between this remote and the original Panasonic, is that the buttons are harder to press than the original, from a thicker degree of plastic it seems over the underlying buttons. Apart from having to press a bit harder than usual it does the job perfectly.

Initially item worked without a problem. Now just causes a light to flash on the player without being able to operate the player. Only purchased at the end of September.
